RENDER RECORDINGS showcases its second Various Artists compilation. RNDR005 is a showcase of unique artists in the western Canadian breaks, bass house, and techno scene. This compilation kicks off with a fresh bass house track titled “Dream Land” by Freddy J, which features the smooth lyrical flows of Rubix. We then move into some swinging, funky breakbeats with FunkinRight and his track titled “Funky Like.” Bright Idea adds to the Glitch Hop tip with his crunchy beats and glitchy textures on his track titled “Glitchin Aboot.” So So Fresh label boss, Mctwist, brings some serious heat with his booty breaks track titled “One Time Only.” AGE takes us on a journey into acid breaks and leftfield techno with his jam “Acid Therapy.” Dojo Entertainment boss, Donald Bump, uses some clever sampling and brings that G-Funk vibe on his breaks track titled “Creepin & Crawling.” SwaggaCats closes off the release with his peak time techno track “WhenUrAlone.”

FunkinRight - Funky Like (Original Mix)

We&rsquo;re very pleased to welcome back FunkinRight with his second EP on BBP since his debut EP back in 2020. It hasn&rsquo;t been more than a year but FunkinRight has developed his unique style of glitch funk to perfection, which is demonstrated throughout all 4 originals on The Full Extension EP.
FunkinRight is a very active Canadian producer and DJ who&rsquo;s keeping busy in the twitch community as well as delivering bassy cuts for a number of compilations lately. The 4 tracks on The Full Extension EP is handpicked to follow up on last year Bring The Funk EP with a similar melodic funky approach but with an even punchier bass-heavy sound.
Starting things off with Bounce to That which kicks the EP off with an upbeat bass groover starting off with a traditional funk bass and horns before developing into a glitch bass inferno. Continuing on with a lower tempo but an equally catchy funk groove and some overall mellow vibes on the second cut called Like Dis. The EP moves on with the title track The Full Extension which bring in some big FunkInRight atmospheres and melodies and some mellow vocals. Finally, FunkInRight is teaming up with fellow Canadian producer Maandala for a groovy bass funk jam that starts out as a midtempo glich jam but transitions into a uptempo bass banger in the last part of the track.
