I composed this meditative, koto- and synth-focused ambient track specially for Lonetapes' outstanding podcast "Did Somebody Say...Ambient?" -- an inspiration from the beginning. Sleepwalkers is a meeting of East and West, with spare, bright koto lines wrapped in warm analog pads. Basement Letters is a creative outlet from the UK. Musically not too caught up in genre but existing somewhere within the indie / electronic / post punk / experimental spheres. Combining guitars, synthesizers, tapes, spoken word and not so spoken word to get whatever is inside, outside.

Visually the Basement Letters aesthetic is still developing and will continue to do so. The goal is somewhere between art and anti design, or something as equally pretentious.
