This video is kirtan and katha recorded at Sikh Student Camp in 2004. Kirtan of "Satguru Aaeo Saran Tumari" is by Ravinderpal Singh and Gursharan Kaur, and kirtan of "Madho Hum Aise Tu Aisa" is by Ishminder Kaur. Katha is by Basics of Sikhi and included Ardaas by Bhai Manvir Singh and Katha of Hukamnama is by Bhai Sukha Singh. 
The background of this programme is that the sevadars at the camp felt that the buzz of sikhi was not floating around the camp and that we needed a big kirtan session to inspire and really connect with Guruji. We took a Hukamnama from Guruji on the morning of this day which confirmed that we needed to do something and what was really amazing is how at the end of the kirtan and katha session, Dhan Guru Granth Sahib ji gave us such an amazing hukamnama which blew everybody away. Guruji confirmed that this is exactly what we need to do, talk and sing about Vaheguru.

Amazing must watch Katha & Kirtan on the beautiful shabad (hymn) 'Terai Bharosai Pyare'. If you read the translation of this shabad on iGurbani or SikhiToTheMax , you might find the translation a bit difficult to connect to. For this Katha (discourse), Bhai Baljit Singh improved on the interpretation of the shabad helping bring the meaning to life. In reflection of this shabad (hymn), Bhai Baljit Singh explains in depth how just like a child sometimes falls over, they can return to the safe laps of their parents, in the same way, we can rely and fall into the loving laps of that One, who resides in the energy of the Sangat (holy congregation). 

Bhai Baljit Singh explains the need for improving the translations of Gurbani and asks for the blessings of the Sangat to work on this project.
