Japji Sahib answers all of the biggest questions anybody could possibly have about life and the creation. Questions like, 'What is the meaning of life? What is my purpose? What is my true essence?' Each pauri (stanza) takes you on a journey closer to your soul, step by step. Through taking on the wisdom of Japji Sahib, you can realise your true self. In each podcast, Bhai Baljit Singh explores one pauri at a time in a friendly discussion format, using very relatable and real life examples to learn from.

Japji Sahib is the first Sikh prayer written in Guru Granth Sahib Ji (eternal Sikh scriptural Guru) written by Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the first Sikh Guru. This Bani (prayer) is recited by Sikhs daily as part of their Nitnem (daily Sikh prayers).

When we realise that we are bound by the One's divine will and cannot escape that, we start to step away from the multiple layers of ego that we are stuck in. Having this realisation is our doorway to liberation.

Whilst being identified with the ego and being separated from the truth, we continue to remain bound to our karmic load (past experiences). The only way to break this cycle is to receive Vaheguru Ji's (God's) grace. To receive this grace, we have to play to the game that the Creator has created.

We often hear that God is love but through which lens are we trying to understand God's love? Gurbani itself defines God's love for us which is that God's vision is equal upon all. Amazing must watch Katha & Kirtan on the beautiful shabad (hymn) 'Terai Bharosai Pyare'. If you read the translation of this shabad on iGurbani or SikhiToTheMax , you might find the translation a bit difficult to connect to. For this Katha (discourse), Bhai Baljit Singh improved on the interpretation of the shabad helping bring the meaning to life. In reflection of this shabad (hymn), Bhai Baljit Singh explains in depth how just like a child sometimes falls over, they can return to the safe laps of their parents, in the same way, we can rely and fall into the loving laps of that One, who resides in the energy of the Sangat (holy congregation). 

Bhai Baljit Singh explains the need for improving the translations of Gurbani and asks for the blessings of the Sangat to work on this project.
