BSC002’s debut EP from 9TRANE came shattering through with an installment of hard, stripped back UK Techno and Bass with great response from the community. Basilica now moves deeper and darker into the realms of heavy and complex percussion based dance music, with this installment, BSC003. Coming from Australia, Basilica’s newest family member - Lithe.

Lithe is quickly rising the ranks with a signature style combining complex hardware percussion rhythms creating rolling and sharp grooves layered with dark techno ambiences and spaces. 
The Not a Pessimist EP is a journey of intensity, rise and fall and journey. The pace of each track is set from the get go yet as each piece progresses you find your body moving, changing and rising and falling with each subtle element added and taken away so smoothly it hits you on a subconscious level.

Lithe’s sharp and relentless percussion work engulfs you with push and pull, energy,  space and power and, in turn, transforms the listener by hypnotically grooving through the flawless percussion, combinations and strength.

Lithe's work has gained attention and support from labels such as Early Reflex, Flodoa and Enhancer. Expect to see much more of Lithe both in Australia and worldwide.

EL MAMU is the artistic project of Mateo Muñoz as a producer, DJ, and live artist. Born in Bogotá, Colombia, after a professional career as a classical pianist, he found a way to rebuild his artistic career through music production. His live act was the overall winner of the 2023 Clandestino Competition organized by Techsound, and he subsequently shared the stage with renowned international artists such as Lady Starlight, Kr!z, Steve Bicknell, Lewis Fautzi, Alarico, DJ Pete, Truncate, Anne, among others.

EL MAMU's sonic universe, although currently orbiting hypnotic techno, is characterized by the versatility of his explorations, where the danceable and energetic nature of classic drum machines coexists with sound explorations surrounding the minimalist, the sci-fi, the psychedelic, broken rhythms, and the random. His music has been released on labels around the world, including Naked Lunch, trauma, PA$TI, CommonSense Records, Concepto Hipnótico, Hyperfocus, and TNR Media, among others.

He is also the co-founder of the Bogotá-based collective No.ID (No.Identity Records), a cultural community and label dedicated to the distribution, promotion, and production of electronic music. Through No.ID, he positions himself as a Latin American in a quest for the different colors of techno, with a strong intention to create musical bridges with other genres of electronic music, while also exploring collective development spaces to shape individual projects.

EL MAMU es el proyecto artístico de Mateo Muñoz como productor, DJ y artista en vivo. Nacido en Bogotá, Colombia, tras una carrera profesional como pianista clásico, encontró la manera de reconstruir su carrera artística a través de la producción musical. Su live act fue el ganador absoluto del Concurso Clandestino 2023 organizado por Techsound, y posteriormente compartió escenario con reconocidos artistas internacionales como Lady Starlight, Kr!z, Steve Bicknell, Lewis Fautzi, Alarico, DJ Pete, Truncate, Anne, entre otros. 

El universo sonoro de EL MAMU, aunque orbitando ahora alrededor del techno de corte hipnótico, se caracteriza por la versatilidad de sus exploraciones, donde conviven lo bailable y enérgico de las clásicas cajas de ritmo con los rastreos sonoros en torno a lo minimalista, lo sci-fi, lo psicodélico, los ritmos rotos y lo aleatorio. Su música ha sido publicada en sellos de todo el mundo como Naked Lunch, trau- ma, PA$TI, CommonSense Records, Concepto Hipnótico, Hyperfocus, TNR Media, entre otros.

También es cofundador del colectivo bogotano No.ID (No.Identity Records), una comunidad cultural y sello dedicado a la distribución, promoción y producción de música electrónica. Desde No.ID se sitúa como latinoamericano en una búsqueda por distintos colores del techno, con una fuerte intención por crear también puentes musicales con otros géneros de la música electrónica, explorando asimismo espacios de formación colectiva para moldear proyectos individuales.
