214 Wave.Transmit.Decay #1

This month's set is a mix of Deep Electro and some Machine Funk. The Fanzine label features largely with an amazing new ep from Nullptr and a various artist release with tracks from Carl Finlow, Univac and Sound Synthesis. Another quality records I recently picked up was the 214 release on Frustrated Funk and all three tracks feature in the mix. Also, a shout out Irish label Instrinsic Rhythm and the new ep by Irish Electro legends Decal - one of the reasons I got into electro back in the late nineties!

This audio is from the practice run of the actual show. They are very similar but the video has a few extra tracks.

@Cyb3rdom is a DJ and producer based in Barcelona. Originally raised in Mallorca, he moved to Barcelona in 2017, where he started to learn from the underground scene and forged an obsession for vinyl and synthesizers. In short time he became an active figure in the Spanish Electro scene, releasing tracks on labels such as Útil Records, Gente Seria Viste Chándal, among others, as well as DJing on countless clubs in the city.

For much of her career the elusive Annechoic has operated in the shadows, balancing her time between her work in film post-production and running the highly regarded extinct cult label Audiofugitives with Schizolectric since 2012.
 
She has also produced a secret arsenal of music that we have only gotten a glimpse at on her own label and more recently with releases for Brokntoys, Endless Illusion, System Revival, Severn Electronics and Futurepast. Her DJ sets have been highly regarded for the intelligent flow across electro, techno and ambient - which ultimately brought her to gain the residency at Enigma in 2020.
 
Both as a producer and DJ, Annechoic wishes to explore the relationships between rhythm and melody primarily within electro but not confined to it. Her music ranges from soft ambient themes all the way through to darker syn-thetic soundscapes with an emphasis on razor sharp techno-electro aiming to trigger a deep emotional reaction in the listener.
