An Italian native DJ project, Milangeles have been following his passion for music and honing his talents for over 10 years. Filippo Tortorici has not only mastered the art of DJing, but has proven his remixing abilities to some of the industry's most critical ears (just to mention a few: Daniel Haaksman aka Man Recordings™ label owner, Diplo, Uproot Andy, Schlachthofbronx, So Shifty, Bot, Swick).



With several years of experience behind the wheels of steel playing in some of the coolest premier night spots in Italy, he has developed a unique approach to fuse all things ghetto banging the Tropical Bass scene with their remix of "Copia Doble Systema - Fisketorvet Riddim", a secret weapon track for any bass set. Their signature ability to swing from juke to trap to polka to baile funk back and forth within 2 minutes and a half, all mixed with energetic vocals, has since become an unmistakable sound that has become their signature with junky free remixes such as "M.I.A. - Bad Girls" and "Crookers - Get The Fuck Out Of My House".



Whether they were remixing a classic tropical hit "Douster - King Of Africa" with one of the hottest producers from Denmark, Eloq, or working with italian bass pioneer Ckrono & Slesh on the single "David Guetta", they were always creating night woven filled with fat bass and tropical beats. In September 2013, Milangeles were finally ready to release their debut EP "Passionata" on Daniel Haksmann's label, Man Recordings. The four original tracks EP kick off with "Samuel", a tune which features a very familiar 1980s electro funk sample, twisted in their unique Milangeles way. Starting with a cumbia groove, you will soon find yourself in a ghetto polka universe. "Pan Man" kicks off bad man style and then soon drops into a down low pogo that surely will get your dancefloor blown into pieces. "Senta Senta Senta" feat. Rio De Janeiro Ì s baile funk crew Bonde Das Preparadas make hips shake in the club. On one of Passionata EP finest tracks there is a feature with the mighty Copia Doble Systema based in Copenhagen - a true match made in heaven. 



Once Filippo moved to Milan from Pavia in 2015, he couldn't get enough of the beats; he was hooked immediately to the vibe, the crowd, the atmosphere, and the pure thrill of controlling the journey. He then co-founded parties such as Weriddim, Rrriot Nice Club & Comunidad Autonoma. He played on the main stages of many Italian and European Summer festivals. He's a wise soul, even though his age doesn't say it. 



Many say that the only one thing that audiences truly sense when they hear Milangeles spin, is the one thing that keeps his crowds waiting for the clubs to reopen and come back to him for more, it’s Milangeles strength. It’s the force that keeps Filippo constantly moving forward in a world immersed in stillness: the power of the dancefloor.

♪♪ Back Story ♪♪ 1999 brought Saskatoon, SK to the forefront of Canada’s Electronic Music Scene, & diving head first was the eager young digaBoo. In 2000 teaming up with best friend Garret Friesen (J.A.DJ) to form the wildly popular Truespin DJ's & signed on with Playhouse Records with a residency at Sweet Sugar Sundaes (Club 402). For the next 2 years digaBoo & J.A.DJ would take hold of the Saskatchewan scene, playing everything from the smallest underground shindig to the biggest massives & festivals the prairies had to offer. Combined with the endless road swings through SK & Alberta, made digaBoo & the Truespin DJ’s a name on every candy kids play list.
2002 brought digaBoo to Vancouver, BC where this Hard Dance DJ from small town Saskatchewan found a new flavor & love in the Breaks & Funky House scene. digaBoo very quickly became a name on the west coast, & for the next 3 years DJ’d at such clubs asPlush, Plaza Club, Sonar, Tonic, & a residency at Tribeca. Also always taking time to come home to spin for J.A.DJ at many of his legendary Good Life Promotions shows!
Since those days, digaBoo has moved on to played at some of the largest massives & most sought after clubs in western Canada, ranging from Saskatoon, Winnipeg to Edmonton, Red Deer to Vancouver, over to Calgary, & every mountain town inbetween. In 2005 he would join forces with Dom G's Fehreneit Promotions & Canada’s premiere electronic music club, the Warehouse Nightclub & for the next 5 years would DJ some of the biggest club nights with damn near every major world renown DJ’s / producers ever recorded, before the closing of the club in 2010.
Today, the now 19 year DJ Veteran, Adam 'digaBoo' Bradley is constantly moving forward. From Talent Director of FozzyFest, to running the Truespin Entertainment Group Brand (records, media, management), touring, & even finding time to slip in some track releases, you are sure to find digaBoo at an event near you!
