The doghouse is a term for the double bass ,in this track I used a plectrum
 on the double bass hence "Picking the doghouse"

This a 7/8 tune. I was sampling the natural sounds of my local area (kookaburras, corollas and creek sounds).
I try and replicate oud sound by playing the double bass up in high register using a guitar plectrum. It also features fretless bass and pizzicato double bass.

This track I play the Greek bouzouki using a drum stick to try and recreate the attack of cymbolum or dulcimer. The flute and similar sounds are created using the bow on double bass by playing long light and fast bow strokes.
