Longtime collaborator Bobby Saint again takes on vocal duties, with the LA-based Bermudian effortlessly gliding over a rich tapestry of horns, guitars, and keys, with his signature nu-soul-infused tones. True to form, The Niceguys also showcase their exceptional musicianship, seamlessly weaving live instrumentation into a masterfully produced, rolling funk groove.

Here is a new Northern Soul track I’ve written with my Dad called ‘Take All Your Lovin’ And Run’ with fantastic Lulu-esque singer, Sarah Collins. Sarah and I met by chance at last year’s BBC ‘Make A Difference’ awards, where I was a judge and handed out an award, and Sarah had a halftime singing slot. She had a bit of fame last year, as she had overcome a brain tumour, and unbeknown to her, it was arranged that she would perform at the London Palladium on the Michael McKintyre Big Show on BBC TV with American singer, LeAnn Rimes! We’ve had early support from my pal Craig Charles on his BBC6 Afternoon and Funk & Soul shows and from a number of well-known DJ's -  hope you like it!

This sunrise set will go down as one of my proudest, and favorite moments in my lifetime. Music has all broughten us together in such amazingly strange and beautiful ways, and we are so blessed to all be on the journey together. Thank you TGV, for what you've taught us and the love you've allowed us to share with one another.

This set is dedicated to my sister, the unicorn queen, my Koala Brother, who decided to climb this Eucalyptus Tree with me - to all the siblings in this world, if you have one, tell them you love them often -(and if you have no siblings, the Koalas always have room for one more) and, of course, every person who was there dancing with us as the sun rose over the majestic Keylocko sky, and every soul in the sky above us, who we live, dance, laugh, and love for, everyday. We love you!

Breakbeat Paradise Recordings is back with another big vinyl release from the amazing producer due Lack Jemmon, which consists of DJ Clairvo and Kid Panel, who are both well-established producers, DJs and label owners on their own. Together they are an explosive cocktailed of big funky grooves, filthy glitcy basslines and banging beats!

Lack Jemmon has been around for a couple of years and quickly signed up with the successful ghetto funk label Scour Records where they have dropped a few tunes and remixes. When the boys reached out to us and said they had 4 bangers they wanted to drop on vinyl we didn’t hesitate to say Hell Yeah!

The self-titled EP showcases their style of heavy breaks and funky basslines perfectly across the 4 bangers that are tried and tested for complete dancefloor destruction.

A1. The EP kicks off with a big remix on the catchy Olly’s Heartbeat, which has been infused with some heavy duty basslines and some rocking electronic funk beats. Pure fire!

A2. The party continues on the second cut where the boys are really getting serious on another catchy riff and some party rhymes to go with the steady beats and glichy basslines. Let’s not forget the beautiful hook from the original 90s dance anthem to complete this perfect joint – Who’s Serious!

B1. Just as we though this couldn’t get any better Lack Jemmon cooked up another banger for the b-side called The Party Riddim. As the name suggest it harvests some big reggae grooves and vocals mixed with some party rocking beats.

B2. To showcase a different side to the duo Would You?! is a funky house arrangement with some smooth disco grooves and a party rocking rap acapella. A perfect way to end this double A-sided wax of bangers!

Founded by Boe Pedersen (Dj BadboE) in Denmark, and now based in Florida. The label originates from the music website Breakbeat Paradise that has been running since 1996. Breakbeat Paradise is dedicated to breakers and electronic musicians within the style of music that we can loosely term as breakbeat. Developing and improving this website over the last 10 years to include everything from visitor music sharing, annual breakbeat contests, samplekits and discussion forum. We felt that going into digital music distribution would be a natural next step.

The music material on the Breakbeat Paradise website has over 1000 pieces of music. Breakbeat Paradise Recordings will  pick up the very best  “cream of the crop”, artists  and tunes and release them as digital downloads through Breakbeat Paradise Recordings  collaborative partners . We found digital distribution would match perfect with our cutting-edge funky breakbeat music and the fastest way from  the streets – to the listener and dancefloor!

With only exclusive vinyl and digital releases , we are always focused on the most important thing for us – the music! 

The music will span from traditional nu funk and funky breaks to more dancefloor oriented ghetto funk,  future funk and big beat as well as hip hop with a glitch and the more mellow side of the drum ‘n’ bass and nu breaks. The sound of Breakbeat Paradise is driven by an emphatic beat that is intended to form a leitmotif between the releases.

Even though releases from Breakbeat Paradise will be coming from different artists, we always uniform a sound by focusing within the genres of breakbeat.  Collaborators and musicians work close together on our label and we are always ensuring a brand of selective “state of the art“, quality and sound .
