Lack Jemmon return to Bombstrikes with a “Double A-side” release which is packed with their top shelf bass led production on the two tracks to choose from here. As Breakbeat Paradise Recordings continue on the endless journey of discoveries within the funky sounds of the breaks we came across a special style of bassy glitch funk from Canadian producer FunkinRight. On this debut 4-track EP called Bring The Funk we are seeing FunkinRight doing just that with a sweet organic electronic funk with bold heavy basslines and steady rocking beats alone with some clever sampling into the classic breaks goldmine &ndash; twisted in brand new way.

FunkinRight is no stranger to the funky breaks DJ scene of the western Canadian circuit where he&rsquo;s brought his funky styles to festivals like Curiosity, FozzyFest, Freezerburn, Vibrant and shared stages with funky DJs/Producer like: Askillz, Featurecast, Father Funk, JFB, Megan Hamilton, Phibes, WBBL, Woofax and more.

The EP is featuring 3 originals joints from FunkinRight that fully showcases his unique type of funy bass music. In addition to this another fellow Calgary-based producer Sonek who is known for his releases on V.I.M.Breaks &amp; Diesel Recordings is featuring on the Work track that finished up this EP. Founded by Boe Pedersen (Dj BadboE) in Denmark, and now based in Florida. The label originates from the music website Breakbeat Paradise that has been running since 1996. Breakbeat Paradise is dedicated to breakers and electronic musicians within the style of music that we can loosely term as breakbeat. Developing and improving this website over the last 10 years to include everything from visitor music sharing, annual breakbeat contests, samplekits and discussion forum. We felt that going into digital music distribution would be a natural next step.

The music material on the Breakbeat Paradise website has over 1000 pieces of music. Breakbeat Paradise Recordings will  pick up the very best  “cream of the crop”, artists  and tunes and release them as digital downloads through Breakbeat Paradise Recordings  collaborative partners . We found digital distribution would match perfect with our cutting-edge funky breakbeat music and the fastest way from  the streets – to the listener and dancefloor!

With only exclusive vinyl and digital releases , we are always focused on the most important thing for us – the music! 

The music will span from traditional nu funk and funky breaks to more dancefloor oriented ghetto funk,  future funk and big beat as well as hip hop with a glitch and the more mellow side of the drum ‘n’ bass and nu breaks.
