BCCO x SoundCloud New Faces S04E21: guru'w

Made in Bochum, shaped in Melbourne, and now based in Berlin, Carl Bergé is known for his dramaturgic approach to DJing—building tension and emotion through carefully crafted, cross-genre sets. A resident at HÖR Berlin, he’s shared line-ups with Gabrielle Kwarteng, DJ Heartstring, Sam Alfred, Ogazón, Bashkka and Lovefoxy.

House music lies at the heart of his sound, but Carl’s productions often lean into deeper, faster and more unconventional territory. His tracks have been supported by artists like Skin On Skin, DJ BORING and Job Jobse.

Though he grew up in West Germany, Carl’s passion for electronic music took shape under the sun in Australia—where long days working on farms were spent soundtracked by early Mall Grab and Ross From Friends. Venues like SASH, Revolver Upstairs and Naarm’s Breakfast Club played a key role in shaping his taste and style.

This set draws on Carl’s House roots but dives into the brighter side of Techno—rich with melodic chords, pianos and a steady pulse of hard, driving drums.

BCCO Mix Series 594: Carl Bergé

Luv.Deluxe is an emerging artist in the electronic music scene. She began her journey in late 2023, inspired by iconic trance legends and the high-energy spirit of Eurodance. Starting with local gigs, she quickly made an impact with sets at AVA Club, Club Ost and a standout performance on the Culturamabus at Rave the Planet.

In 2025, she stepped onto the international stage with a live stream for Durian Radio in Bangkok, followed by sets at Blaq Lyte Rover and SUBWERK. Her sound blends emotional trance, Eurodance energy and the driving rhythms of hard, bouncy trance—crafted into euphoric, high-energy journeys.
This mix is a fast and fun ride through her current favourites, including a few signature tracks that define her style. Carefully selected for dynamic flow, it’s packed with uplifting melodies, intense drops and emotional peaks—made for the dancefloor and filled with the raw joy and freedom that trance brings.

BCCO Mix Series 599: LUV.DELUXE

SWART grew up in the Belgium scene, which has always been at the forefront of high-energy sounds from rave to techno. Years after first parting as a teenager, he is now established as a tehaon talent in his own right with a sound that is trance-infused and hypnotic. He's dropped plenty of it on the likes of VAGUE and Selected (Berlin), and it is all written on Ableton. He's such a wizard with it, he recently hosted a first-ever masterclass to share all aspects of his creative process.

This summer he'll be busy playing the likes of Pisiboat, Extrema Outdoor, Duro Festival, Fuse, Bootshaus and more, and promises lots of new music is on the way. Before that he's dropped a signature mix and let us in on his early roots into the scene, his views of AI, what gear he favours and plenty more.
