Inox Traxx is a name that has been growing over the past few years, with fast-paced hypnotic and unique sounding. Her debut vinyl EP “II” on Overbalance in 2019, as well as the highly rated "House of Wax" EP on Ben Sims’ imprint Symbolism in 2021. Two additional EPs released on Ben Sims’ labels, Hardgroove and Symbolism, further solidified her presence in the industry. 

Based in Berlin, Inox Traxx thrives in an environment that encourages pushing the boundaries of electronic music. Regular appearances at renowned venues like Berghain have cemented Inox Traxx’ position as one to watch in the years to come.

Her productions can be best characterized with a simple quote, courtesy of Hard Wax: “Flawless, highly effective, pure Techno”. 
In 2024, she signed with KNTXT, the techno label curated by Charlotte De Witte. Her "In My Darkness" EP released on RPM by KNTXT marks just the beginning.

In the 155th episode of Techno Cartel Podcast we are pleased to host Ramon Tapia

Ramon Tapia was born and raised in Holland, with a Dutch mother and Chilean father – his upbringing had an eclectic mix of cultures which in turn developed and influenced his decision to become a musician. 
As always Ramon likes to raise his bar and his sound evolves constantly with a new inspiring sound. In 2023 Ramon entered into the Raw Techno techno Top 10 charts with a bang, with tracks like his collaboration with Gaston Zani “Friction” on Planet Rhtyhm ”  and “Circular” on Christian Smith’s  Tronic Music in 2024 .Expect collabs and remixes for Pan-Pot , Hertz , Kmyle , A.Paul and much more.
Self-taught, gradually he started learning how to produce tracks solo, with a foundation in pounding techno and hardcore scene which resulted in several releases and remixes , while going to school to become a gold smith he had a job in Antwerp’s famous record store “USA import” where he sculpted a broad  taste in music and his production skills along the way.
He found his resurgence in the 00’s, forging a new school techno sound with his release ‘Land Of Drum’ on Pocket the sublabel of Music Man, a release on Gayle San’s label Equator and more house styled tracks on New York’s legendary Strictly Rhythm label. That's where his name catapulted into the limelight, becoming the biggest turning point for his career, resulting in a residency at Sankey’s Ibiza for three years, multiple bookings around the globe, rapidly growing loyal fan base and global recognition!
With an impressive collection of releases on some of the biggest labels, Ramon decided to start his very own imprint - Say What? Records in 2012. The label delivers a proper dancefloor-ready Techno from respected names and new kids pulling the wagon for the new generation under Ramon’s supervision.
His skills aren’t limited to producing. He is also a highly skilled DJ, performing for crowds all around the world. He has a special way of connecting with the audience and taking them on an intense musical journey with his rolling /up tempo, raw  sound. So far you might have danced with him on festivals like Tomorrowland, Caprices festival, Drumcode Festival, May Day, Loveland and the list is counting.

Bio

- Roul Bauer aka Vicious Steam Engine was born 1978 in Germany. His Techno Passion awoke in the 90ies, with the upcoming Rave Scene in Switzerland & Germany.

The urge to create his own Techno Journeys was born at August 2020, during the Covid-19 lockdown. He started producing his own techno tracks one year later. He learned mixing at an Dj/mixing Workshop at Mixmasters.ch. Just for learning/training Sessions, he started an Techno Podcast called "Hot Pressure Stream" at Soundcloud. The Podcast and his Social Media grew steadily and other Guest Djs played at his Podcast. Since then he played at different Radioshows in Europe & USA.

He was at 2 Techno retreats of Mixmasters.net in Ibiza, where he learned from legends such as Funk Dvoid, Patrik Berg, Harvey Mckay, Wehbba and Josh Wink. Now he is currently taking an online course in Electronic Music Production at Björn Thorwellen's Sinee Institute and try to master his Abelton Push 02. Shørt, born in 1993 in Castellana Grotte (BA), discovered his love for music at an early age, inspired by his father’s influence. In 2012, he made his debut as a DJ at local festivals, sharing the stage with artists like Rebekah (CLR) and Marco Faraone.

After a brief hiatus, Shørt re-emerged, releasing a series of mixes that caught the attention of both local and international record labels. On March 20, 2018, he released his first track under the Sacred Ritual label, followed by his debut EP Dark Side on Sisma Rec on May 7, 2018.

Following another break, Shørt returned in 2021, continuing to carve his path in the electronic music scene.

The X Vinyl Series continues with label head Florian Meindl at the helm with the upcoming release Metaphysics. Synonymous with deep, dark techno, Florian does not disappoint with this 4 track EP, enlisting in demand producer and Rabe label boss Denise Rabe on remixing duties. Playing live with his Modular Synth set up, Florian began working on the concept for what would become these three original tracks while playing shows over the last month. The live jam character can clearly be felt in the first two tracks Metaphysics and Holomorphic Function. Florians original Bell's Theorem has a deep melodic structure. With Denise Rabes interpretation, the track is contorted through some serious distortion pedals and broken beat to match her dark take on the synth line. The outcome is an impressive piece for one of those never ending nights in concrete walled rooms with oversized loudspeakers.

Ben Klock’s Klockworks invites the legendary London-based artist The Advent to join the ever-growing roster to deliver the 22nd instalment on the label, to be due out this September. The Advent started producing in his trademark raw, energetic style in 1994 and since then has become a rebel and an icon in the scene. Cisco Ferreira puts forward three stand-out tracks for Klockworks, one brand new one and two from The Advent’s rave archives.

On the A-side, ‘High Horse’ is a fresh track from The Advent that has been prominent in his live sets, features a saucy vocal that can also be recognised as a favourite in Ben Klock’s DJ sets in the past few months, now finally making an appearance on wax for the label. 

The flip-side features two previously unreleased tracks from the 90’s when the approach was more raw and groovy, something that can be seen having a revival in current times. ‘Un Named’ is more stripped down and pulsating while ‘Sound Pove’ features a jacking Chicago house groove with a techno tempo, both fitting perfectly into the Klockworks catalog.

Growing more and more passionate about music from an early age he started to attend several clubs in Puglia, the famous Cocoricò and Fabric (London), expanding more and more his musical horizons and experience. In 2012 he made his first appearance as a DJ at local festivals and events and he started to appear on lineups alongside the likes of Rebekah (CLR), Marco Faraone and many others.
