Maruwa blends trance, progressive house, and techno with a punchy energy that’s won her fans on dance floors worldwide. Her sound combines the mood of the ’90s and 2000s with a sharp modern touch. Now based in Frankfurt, she’s released on labels like Steel City Dance Discs and X-Kalay, and delivered remixes for artists including Dusky, Skream, Catz ’n’ Dogz, Azo, Denham Audio, and Subsism. From Robert Johnson to Intercell, Panorama Bar to Macadam, she’s known for sets that move between deep, hypnotic and high-energy.

This mix draws on the 2000s—not for nostalgia, but for the hypnosis. Dark tribal grooves, sleazy progressive house, and late-night tech with the feel of a burned CD-R from 2003. It’s playful, groovy, and a little weird—in the best way.

For Week 1 of our 5 weeks of Pride colabs, we are in NYC with ON Top by the legendary Susanne Bartsch. First up, is boyyyish.

boyyyish is a Viet-Mexican club kid who has been a fixture in the New York nightlife scene for over a decade. His genre-bending sets span house, acid, rave, soulful house, Latin rhythms, and beyond.

Mentored by nightlife icons Christina Visca and Susanne Bartsch, boyyyish has supported legends like Danny Krivit, Todd Edwards, Jellybean Benitez, and Dimitri from Paris.

His personal projects reflect his commitment to community and identity: club boyyyish champions BIPOC and LGBTQ+ voices in techno, while Love Prism has become a staple in queer nightlife.

boyyyish’s musical range stretches from Brooklyn warehouses to Manhattan rooftops—merging garage, acid, techno, disco, and house with personal flair. His weekly radio show breakfast "with boyyyish" explores deep-cut 80s and 90s electronic gems and has become a cult favorite over five seasons.

A resident at Le Bain and House of Yes, he’s also lit up events for NYFW, Paper Magazine, and Helmut Lang. Internationally, he’s brought his sound to Berlin, Milan, Mexico City, Pavilion Festival, Bonnaroo, SXSW, and beyond.

This mix captures the essence of On Top—a wild, steamy, sexy, silly, cunty, queer Tuesday night in NYC. It’s a love letter to the party’s 15th season, and to Susanne Bartsch, the legend behind it all. We loved working with him to produce this mix and we're excited to share it with you all.

For Week 2 of our 5 weeks of Pride colabs, we are in London, UK with FEEL IT the party co‑produced by legendary queer collective Little Gay Brother and the iconic drag DJ‑producer Jodie Harsh. Wrapping up their week is artist J. Aria.

J. Aria is a UK-based DJ, producer, composer and vocalist. A resident at Adonis and Dalston Superstore, they’ve become a key name in the international queer underground with their blend of house balladry and camp-acid theatrics. Their genre-blurring sound pulls soul, romance and fierceness from across the dance spectrum, with releases on Nervous Records and Adonis Records.

This mix is a sweat-heavy, percussive ride recorded in one take. It’s a workout in groove, soul and sex—navigating genres to tap into that feeling of intensity and surprise. It’s made with the dancers in mind—for the moments that make them feel sexy. It’s for the girls.

For Week 4 of our 5 weeks of Pride colabs, we are in our home town of Berlin with Buttons. Today they bring us the second all vinyl set of the week with @shaunjwright

Shaun J. Wright grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago, falling in love with house music during their teenage years. While studying at Morehouse College in Atlanta, they honed their skills as a dancer in both the vogue ballroom scene and professional dance companies. After earning an MA in Fashion Curation from the London College of Fashion, they worked in fashion in New York City, where they met Andrew Butler of Hercules and Love Affair in 2008 and joined the group as a vocalist.

In 2012, Wright returned to Chicago to focus on their solo career, teaming up with DJ and producer Alinka to launch the Twirl label and party series. As a DJ, they’ve brought their sound – often laced with live vocals – to dance floors around the world, from Sydney to Berlin to their hometown, where they’re a resident at Smartbar.

This set was recorded at home using vinyl only, with a vocal outro from Aérea Negrot & Longopus added digitally. The tracklist was inspired by warm Sunday afternoons playing in the Garten at Buttons – sunny, soulful, and full of feeling.
