New Faces Mix Series 2.12: SWART

At just 17, Mees Javois is quickly becoming a rising star in the scene, catching the attention of heavyweights like Ben Sims (UK) and Mall Grab (AUS). His sound is defined by hard-hitting kicks, groovy basslines, classic synth stabs, and melodies that evoke a nostalgic vibe. It’s evident from his music and DJ sets that Javois possesses both talent and a deep understanding of his craft, paired with a strong work ethic. His trajectory is unmistakable. This past year has been pivotal for the young artist, with upcoming releases on Mall Grab & Effy’s new label, Fragrance, and DJ appearances at events like Into The Woods festival, Nachbar, and BRET.

This mix series features a selection of recent finds and favourites from DJ Zank, Kenji Hina, and The Subjective, among others. It also includes some of Javois’s own unreleased tracks and forthcoming productions on Fragrance Recordings, the new label from Effy and Mall Grab. Kicking off the third season of our New Faces programme, now in partnership with SoundCloud is cndiy.

German-born and influenced by Polish and French roots, cndiy is a Dortmund-based DJ whose journey into techno began as a passionate dancer and listener. Now behind the decks, she crafts a unique sound that reflects the music that moves her and offers an escape from reality.

In her sets, cndiy leads listeners through deep, energy-lifting journeys of industrial and atmospheric techno. By weaving melodious, flourishing elements into darker, raw soundscapes, she strikes a careful balance of intensity, depth, and playfulness.

400 Coups, Minuit is a French DJ whose sound blends hypnotic techno and shimmering grooves with darker, dystopian atmospheres. Drawing on a classical music background and influences from punk, industrial and experimental textures, her sets create immersive, dreamlike soundscapes inspired by literature and cinema.

This mix is structured as a cycle, opening and closing with Ryoji Ikeda’s experimental track “data.matrix” before moving through cold, hypnotic techno into a hard‑groove peak with Speleon’s “Cave.” A tempo break features a percussion solo, then the energy shifts into calmer, hypnotic techno that returns to “data.matrix,” exploring the spaces between rhythm and abstraction over one hour.

For Week 1 of our 5 weeks of Pride colabs, we are in NYC with ON Top by the legendary Susanne Bartsch. First up, is boyyyish.

boyyyish is a Viet-Mexican club kid who has been a fixture in the New York nightlife scene for over a decade. His genre-bending sets span house, acid, rave, soulful house, Latin rhythms, and beyond.

Mentored by nightlife icons Christina Visca and Susanne Bartsch, boyyyish has supported legends like Danny Krivit, Todd Edwards, Jellybean Benitez, and Dimitri from Paris.

His personal projects reflect his commitment to community and identity: club boyyyish champions BIPOC and LGBTQ+ voices in techno, while Love Prism has become a staple in queer nightlife.

boyyyish’s musical range stretches from Brooklyn warehouses to Manhattan rooftops—merging garage, acid, techno, disco, and house with personal flair. His weekly radio show breakfast "with boyyyish" explores deep-cut 80s and 90s electronic gems and has become a cult favorite over five seasons.

A resident at Le Bain and House of Yes, he’s also lit up events for NYFW, Paper Magazine, and Helmut Lang. Internationally, he’s brought his sound to Berlin, Milan, Mexico City, Pavilion Festival, Bonnaroo, SXSW, and beyond.

This mix captures the essence of On Top—a wild, steamy, sexy, silly, cunty, queer Tuesday night in NYC. It’s a love letter to the party’s 15th season, and to Susanne Bartsch, the legend behind it all. We loved working with him to produce this mix and we're excited to share it with you all.

W. Jeremy is a New York-based DJ, producer, and founder of Get Up Recordings, whose roster has included Honey Dijon, Tedd Patterson, Alinka, Eli Escobar, The Carry Nation, The Blessed Madonna, and Bianca Oblivion.

Early in his career, he worked with Tony Humphries on launching the Yellorange label before relocating to San Francisco for a five-year residency at The End Up. Back in New York, he’s since produced and collaborated with JD Samson, The 2 Bears, Tom Stephan, and Larry Tee, and held residencies at venues including Marquee NYC. 

He’s played the P.S.1 Warm Up series and currently holds a residency at Susanne Bartsch’s On Top party at The Standard, NYC.

This mix blends digital and vinyl tracks collected over the years — from deep archive cuts to brand-new finds. It captures the later side of On Top: heavy on the tech, heavy on the queer, and heavy on the fun.

SKYWALKER is a Bronx-born, Brooklyn-based DJ and event producer who arrived on the scene in 2023 with unstoppable energy and a deep connection to the dancefloor. As co-founder and resident of Mercury in Reggaeton, he’s known for expertly guiding crowds through high-intensity, emotionally-charged sets that feel both grounded and explosive. His sound blends house, Latin house, Jersey club, glitchy techno, and global club edits—always unpredictable, always high impact.

This mix is a sunset-to-night journey. It opens with warm, Latin-infused rhythms before building into rawer, percussive territory—layering Jersey bounce, broken club textures, and glitch-heavy techno into a cohesive, physical ride. It reflects the evolution of SKYWALKER’s sound beyond pure high-energy Latin sets, leaning into tension, groove, and atmosphere. Born in Ukraine and now based in Antwerp, Dana Montana is a DJ known for high-energy sets blending house, disco house, hard house, and 90s-inspired sounds. For Week 1 of our 5 weeks of Pride colabs, we are in NYC with ON Top by the legendary Susanne Bartsch. Today is Amber Valentine.

Amber Valentine is a DJ and event producer who has been shaping New York’s queer nightlife for over a decade. Her sound is rooted in disco, house, and queer club culture, creating dancefloors that feel joyful, electric, and full of connection.

A longtime resident for Susanne Bartsch, Amber is a fixture at the legendary On Top parties and regularly plays across NYC at House of Yes, Le Bain, Elsewhere, Gitano, and Gabriela. She also co-produces PAT with JD Samson and runs Misster at The Woods—the city’s longest-running weekly party for queer women and their wider community.

This Pride mix is a love letter to queer New York. It captures that late-night On Top feeling—sweaty, charged, and alive—with a tracklist built around iconic queer New Yorkers. Expect music from artists like Honey Dijon, The Carry Nation, and others who’ve helped shape the city’s underground sound. It’s not your typical glittery Pride set—this one leans darker, sexier, and proudly queer.

DAMIE, one of Korea’s most outstanding female techno artists, flipped “Do U Bounce” and turned it into a tribalish, raw, and highly danceable banger. The heavily reworked vocals are hardly recognizable from the original mix. Featuring a unique rhythm structure and big, classic synth stabs, the track keeps the listener locked in.

Co-founder of London’s FLINTA* label, event and mix series Technomate (@tm8.club), olesia brings powerhouse energy and initiative to everything they do. A strong advocate for diversity and queer representation, they reject rigid ideas around gender, sexuality and outdated norms within the music industry. As a DJ, olesia moves across different realms of electronic music, blending high-tempo, trance-inspired melodies with heavy kickdrums and trippy soundscapes, all held together with vibrant energy.

BCCO Mix Series 675: olesia

For their debut on BCCO, Promis3 deliver a descent into the shadowy corners of their upcoming EP Clubslut. The mix offers an unfiltered preview of what’s to come: sweaty, vocal-driven rave tracks built for the club floor.

Known for their genre-blending productions and concept-based approach, the duo bring a fresh perspective to a saturated scene. With recent releases on LIVE FROM EARTH, a standout HÖR showcase debuting their new Hybrid DJ format, and the launch of their new A/V live show, Promis3 now join Berlin’s Hyper-Dreams roster as part of the next wave of forward-thinking artists.

BCCO Mix Series 671: AK1

Tasha Safari was born in Ganja, Azerbaijan and is now based in Berlin. Her sound fuses the drive of 90s-inspired techno with hypnotic and dark modern textures, always carrying a subtle feminine touch. She has performed at clubs such as Tresor, RSO, ÆDEN and Renate, with appearances across Europe, Asia and the CIS. Her productions have landed on labels including R3volution Uncoded and Diffuse Reality, as well as compilations for Mutant Radio, Reverse Records and PRTL WRX. Alongside her releases and club sets, she has delivered mixes for platforms like Hör Berlin, PoleGroup Radio, Slam Radio, Noods Radio, Raheem Radio and Different Sound Podcasts—showing the same versatility that defines her work as a DJ and producer.

This mix was recorded at home on a mixer and two CDJs. It features plenty of unreleased tracks from some of her favourite artists, with her own voice woven into the journey.

vagabund is a Cologne-born and based artist deeply rooted in electronic music culture. His focus lies in exploring and shaping different corners of the techno spectrum, curating a sound that is constantly evolving and full of drive.

Known for weaving together melancholic and alternative sounds that catch listeners off guard, he keeps his sets fresh and full of character. His style blends danceable rhythms with touches of trance and hard dance, creating moments that move between introspection and energy.
Recorded for the BCCO mix series, this set captures what vagabund loves to play and listen to right now. Slowing things down slightly compared to a club set, he gives each track room to breathe and unfold. The mix was recorded at his home base, Artheater in Cologne — a place where he’s played many shows, and one that continues to inspire his connection to the dance floor.

BCCO Mix Series 694: vagabund

With over two decades behind the decks, Shlomi Aber is a key figure in underground electronic music. Known for his fast, three-deck mixing and distinctive sound, he has shaped modern techno with releases on respected labels like Klockworks, Blueprint, CLR, R&S, Figure, Cocoon, Ovum, and Drumcode, alongside his long-running imprint Be As One, a benchmark for quality techno worldwide.

Now based in Barcelona, his work has earned recognition across the industry, including DJ Mag’s Best Newcomer (2005), Producer and Track of the Year (2007), Beatport Artist of the Year (2008), and Best Techno DJ at the Sankeys Ibiza DJ Awards (2014 & 2015). 

In this set, Aber mixes 23 tracks across three decks and a loop machine over a little more than an hour. The journey moves from deep, raw techno to a more energetic pace that reflects his current focus, blending moods and textures he has been drawn to lately.
