For Week 1 of our 5 weeks of Pride colabs, we are in NYC with ON Top by the legendary Susanne Bartsch. Today is SKYWALKER.

SKYWALKER is a Bronx-born, Brooklyn-based DJ and event producer who arrived on the scene in 2023 with unstoppable energy and a deep connection to the dancefloor. As co-founder and resident of Mercury in Reggaeton, he’s known for expertly guiding crowds through high-intensity, emotionally-charged sets that feel both grounded and explosive. His sound blends house, Latin house, Jersey club, glitchy techno, and global club edits—always unpredictable, always high impact.

This mix is a sunset-to-night journey. It opens with warm, Latin-infused rhythms before building into rawer, percussive territory—layering Jersey bounce, broken club textures, and glitch-heavy techno into a cohesive, physical ride. It reflects the evolution of SKYWALKER’s sound beyond pure high-energy Latin sets, leaning into tension, groove, and atmosphere. With heart-pounding peaks and introspective dips, this is a set built for movement: physical, emotional, and communal.

BCCO Mix Series 627: SKYWALKER | BCCO x ON TOP by Susanne Bartsch for PRIDE 2025

Explorando as diversas vertentes da música eletrônica, Mawuoni mistura ritmos da club music global com influências do hip hop, cultura pop e baile funk. Em seus DJ sets, destaca-se por uma pesquisa musical centrada em batidas percussivas que se fundem com elementos do mainstream, resultando em mixagens surpreendentes e uma seleção autêntica que marca sua identidade sonora.

Em 2019, ao lado do DJ FRACTA, fundou o coletivo multiartístico @invasaodelas, voltado para a valorização da diversidade na música eletrônica dentro da comunidade LGBTQIA+. Através de B2Bs potentes, o coletivo movimentou a cena cultural de Diadema (São Paulo, Brasil) acumulando eventos expressivos e promovendo inclusão.

Desde então, Mawuoni vem se dedicando à composição, ao canto e à produção de suas próprias faixas, além de colaborar com outros artistas. Seu trabalho independente fortalece a democratização da música, levando representatividade e autenticidade para os palcos e pistas.
