he Berlin-based producer duo Kalte Liebe keeps drawing their inspiration from Post-Punk, Grunge, Dark Wave, EBM, and Techno.
Coming with years-long experiences in different musical projects ranging from beat-making over metal bands, and more they started back in 2019 using a drum machine, a bass synth, and a wasted microphone, only.

Authentically recorded in a 12 square meter room Kalte Liebe started out as an experiment combining diverse influences by the likes of DAF, Falco, Thomas P. Heckmann and more into their distinctively analog, raw, and bassline-driven style.

While their productions are mostly consisting of an elaborated mixture of EBM and old-school Dark Wave paired with technoid characteristics and captivating, roughly distorted vocals in German and English the duo equally stands for tool-ish and highly energetic Techno – modern, pounding, and dirty.

With recent releases on labels like 01010100 Records, Vitus Curse and BFT, even more strongly performing self-releases like „Ego EP“ and their recent work „Dopamin“ they are slowly establishing their name in the scene and quickly growing their audience. With loads of unreleased work and their Vocal Live Performance Kalte Liebe is soon to be heard all over.

Originating from Istanbul and based in Amsterdam, Yigit was introduced to electronic music through Istanbul's underground queer rave scene. Inspired by the diverse landscape of both Amsterdam and Istanbul, Yigit takes influences from several sub-genres of techno. Their sound carries driving energy aiming to create an experience between sound and space.

His discography spans respected labels like @space-trax @extra-energy @uniontrance @speedmasterrecords @silenceronline @elysium-archive @terenor-records @techlabbp many tracks becoming staples in the playlists of the industry’s most influential DJs.

Sioc has gained recognition in Berlin’s underground, performing at clubs like Berghain/Säule, with a standout 2023 closing set at Berghain. In 2024 he launched his own label Satori and joined the @nobordersmusic collective continuing to push the boundaries of psytrance.

When we asked Pegassi to make a mix for us, he said yes immediately. With more than 3 months to the deadline, he chilled. A little too much, and he missed the date.

Determined to get it done, Pegassi packed his DJ setup, took it on a flight to Berlin, and recorded the mixtape in his hotel room in one take before playing at a gig. The result is a raw, authentic blend of his favourite tracks at the moment, including some personal favourites he’s been blasting in the car. Tasha Safari was born in Ganja, Azerbaijan and is now based in Berlin. Her sound fuses the drive of 90s-inspired techno with hypnotic and dark modern textures, always carrying a subtle feminine touch. She has performed at clubs such as Tresor, RSO, ÆDEN and Renate, with appearances across Europe, Asia and the CIS. Her productions have landed on labels including R3volution Uncoded and Diffuse Reality, as well as compilations for Mutant Radio, Reverse Records and PRTL WRX. Alongside her releases and club sets, she has delivered mixes for platforms like Hör Berlin, PoleGroup Radio, Slam Radio, Noods Radio, Raheem Radio and Different Sound Podcasts—showing the same versatility that defines her work as a DJ and producer.

Bloody Mary is an producer, live act, DJ, label owner of Dame-Music, and resident at Tresor Berlin.

This mix brings together some of her favourite tracks from the summer—acid bangers and groovy techno cuts from producers she admires—alongside three of her own. It includes one from her latest EP, another forthcoming on 26 September, and a third signed to a favourite acid label for release on vinyl later this year.
