Berlin-based Inox Traxx is quickly gaining attention as a DJ and producer. Her first release on Overbalance in 2019 showcased her distinct sound, often including dark choir-like vocals over icy synths, all following a minimalistic, hard hitting groove. On her Indicators EP released last year, she uses many of the same elements, but also created a more hypnotic feel with bleeping modular sounds that slowly oscillate in and out.

As a DJ, she plays in line of her own productions, favoring minimalistic hard hitting kick drums, dystopian vocals and minimalistic percussion patterns. In this mix, she only showcases her own productions.

From raves in both their homelands to releases on SK-eleven, HAYES, Room Trax and positivesource, as well as a shared residency for Vault Sessions that’s brought them here for Bassiani Podcast 210, the duo posit a deep and driving compound of high-voltage rhythms in their day-to-day praxis. Slamming techno that has claimed a rightful space among the greatest names of their generation. Layer by layer, an instinctive formulation of heaving basslines and delicate hi-hats balanced with utmost precision. It’s a seamless communion of complementary worldviews in respect to sound, a rich tapestry of ever morphing loops.
