BCCO Podcast 411 is from the artist Roshan who has played an important role in Munich’s underground scene for many years. As organizer and booker of the Ravescape collective, founder resident at DNA club, and founder of Forge of Resonance, he has always built bridges between collectives and genres, and can be found on all kinds of line-ups. 

Roshan is a uniquely flexible artist who always retains a signature sound - a well balanced mixture of techno with melodic influences and groovy elements. His sets often share the unexpected.

On reconnaît notre second invité rien qu’à son déhanché : @bours1 est un artiste made in France à suivre de très très près. Grosse révélation de ces dernières années, il distille une techno dont lui seul semble avoir le secret, à la fois hard, groovy et sexy déclenchant instantanément les pas de danse.

Ce qui le distingue des autres DJs, c’est sa capacité à lire la foule et à adapter son set à la volée.

Aujourd’hui, avec plusieurs années d’expérience à son actif, Bours? est devenu une figure respectée de la communauté des musiques électroniques. Ses sets sont toujours très attendus et ses productions continuent de repousser les limites du genre.

Il est également le fondateur du label Thumps Out Traxx, où il met en avant les œuvres de nouveaux talents et d’amis.

▪️¿Como definirías tu estilo musical?

Me encantan los sonidos con mucho groove, hipnóticos, pero a la vez con bajos contundentes. Estoy en el proceso de no quedarme mezclando un solo género dentro de un mismo set, sino romper con los esquemas y meter otros sonidos nuevos que conecten conmigo y el público.

▪️Si pudieras tocar en cualquier lugar del mundo, ¿Cuál sería?

Creo que tengo muchos lugares a los que me sueño ir, pero uno de ellos sería Berlín.

▪️¿Qué consejo le darías a alguien que quiere comenzar su carrera como DJ hoy en día?

Creo que el ser DJ es un arte que hay que tomar en serio. Mi consejo es que si quieren serlo, le metan duro para ser grandiosos en esto. Esto requiere de mucha dedicación y sobre todo pasión porque cuando se conectan con la música, el mundo vibra bonito. Mucha paciencia porque el camino es largo y por más culebrero que llegue a ser, todo se puede lograr.
