The tenth Affûté release is a Various Artist with three different artists. On the A-side, you'll find 'Overtone' and 'Undertone', two abyssal tracks from label boss Téo Dréan made out of haunting throat singing samples. On the B-side, the British twin brothers Morven deliver a hypnotic groove with 'Awakening'. Young upcoming Dutch producer Hitam wraps up the VA with his dark, sophisticated 'Emerald Curse'.

All profits from the Bandcamp vinyl and digital sales will be donated to an orphanage in Vietnam where Téo's younger sister was adopted. The dark transparent green vinyl echoes the traditional piece of jade jewelry that women wear in this part of Asia.

Adversarial Machines, the imprint of Brooklyn-based producer and DJ BRÄLLE, returns with its fourth release: the second installment of The Adversaries, a remix series accompanying each BRÄLLE release. This EP is a reimagining of Abattoir, the second chapter in the tragic saga that inspired the label's foundation. Featuring a stacked roster of close friends and collaborators from around the world, the release spans styles from glitchy and psychedelic to brooding and menacing.

Your First Adversary is Australia's Connor Wall, an up-and-coming producer and a favorite among DJs, with recent releases on Treatment and Float Records that punch well above his weight.

Second is Buenos Aires-based Michel Lauriola, a well-established, industry-favorite producer and resident at Buenos Aires’ infamous Under Club.

Third is Berlin-based legend VSK, an inspiring and trailblazing producer with over a decade of experience and a staple on Tommy Four Seven’s 47 label.

Fourth is Brooklyn-based DJ and producer Auspex, a household name in New York City and the mastermind behind the linchpin ALTÆR parties at the iconic NYC venue Basement.

Finally, The Unborn Child, a Barcelona-based innovator, rounds out the release with a visceral and granular reincarnation of Abattoir’s closing track, pushing the boundaries of the genre with intimidating yet angelic sound design.

The fourth edition of SHDW’s flagship ‘Federation Of Rytm’ VA series has been carefully curated by the DJ/ producer and head honcho over more than a year, with close attention to detail given to sequencing. It is a balance of label regulars and debutants that represents the past, present, and future, both sonically and through the generational diversity of the artists involved. There are plenty of surprises along the way while always remaining true to the Mutual Rytm ethos and reflecting the journey of the night from start to finish, whether that's in intimate, sweaty clubs or on big festival stages.

Pulsating low-end power alternates with eerie minimalism, while bursts of futuristic energy and cavernous kick drums keep the tension high. Elsewhere, dub textures and moments of introspection provide balance, creating a narrative arc that moves fluidly between intensity and release, atmosphere and tension, darkness and light.

To let different people create different interpretations from one and the same piece of music was the plan of this side project. Mirror Maze is a track that shows a different, more playful and melancholic side of his music. Domiated by a very dynamic synth lead which is evolving through the whole track, accompied by 909 drums. Phil got it reinterpreted by different high quality artists and that's what came out of it.
