The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Brutalismus 3000. One of our favorite Berlin projects returns with a new track on the upcoming DURCH v/a compilation: Solidarity 002 - A Love Letter To The Queer Community. DURCH is a queer collective with a clear vision of solidarity and community building. DURCH operates in Tel Aviv and Berlin trying to bring queer people together, building a culture of inclusion, diversity and tolerance. In the tradition of original raves DURCH organizes solidarity events ranging from parties, to art and community events, with the strong belief that raves are a much needed place for people to come together, celebrate their diversity and learn to respect each other.

After releasing their first v/a earlier in the year, The are back with their second solidarity release of the year: Bolder, queerer and definitely more fun than ever. Take a bit of everything, mix it together and then burn it all down. Building on our previous release DURCH [digital] Solidarity 002 features some well established artists alongside some exciting, well-kept secrets of the electronic dance music scene. You’re in for a bumpy ride and a couple of pretty nasty surprises on the way. Today we bring you the nu gabber post techno punk of "Satan Was a BabyBoomer". 

As always, the proceeds from the release go to Queer causes and this release will benefit TransInterQueer e.V. (TrIQ) and Casa Kuà. Out on April 16th and you can get yours on BANDCAMP.

Raised in France, SOD-90 started his Electronic Music journey in parallel of his Studies as a Flutist in the Classical Music Conservatory of Berlin.  As an escape of the constant pressure and the elitist mentality brought by the classical music environment, he founded himself giving  more and more energy into producing, setting up a fragile balance between both worlds, that kept himself learning  from one to another and and using his knowledge to complement each other. That’s how « No Flight Zone » is born, a result of Hard hitting Hardware Jams, ready to get the crowd moving.

Coming in hot with this release, stunning grooves, encapsulating moods and a whole lot of eclectic dancefloor funk. Words won’t do it justice, we can’t wait for you to hear it.

HARD GANG are proud to present the “Dismal Worlds” EP by FLUCC and Cøunts. BENZIN is the EP’s opener and sets a dystopian mood. Heavily influenced by Rock and Punk the track paints a dismal picture of the industrialised world we live in.

Artists’ bios:
FLUCC is a young artist from Berlin. He aims to create music of distinctive character that polarises and plays with emotions; ranging from joy to melancholy to hate and destruction. Cøunts features heavy industrial sounds and rolling kicks; mixed with different influences from underground Hip Hop to Hardcore. His tracks represent a variety of chaotic emotions underlined by hard pumping, rhythmic beats. Dismal worlds marks their first release together where they explore a slower side of hard industrial techno.

Raise and Radio Loubard are proud to present Epistolar. 

Epistolar is the first Various Artist of an epistolary genre, originating from a collaboration between Raise Records and Radio Loubard. Its structure is composed of correspondences of several authors, several characters, several sensibilities, and several messages. Aiming at co-constructing a story in perpetual motion, Epistolar is the result of various connections on which each artist depends. 

The concept is simple : an artist produces a track which is sent to another artist whose mission is to freely modify the initial message. The artist adds to this letter his or her message before sending it to another artist. The recipient does the same without knowing what the first artists composed and so on. 

With the last letter acting as an open epilogue, Epistolar’s narrative is available to new authors, encouraging the continuation of a never-ending, evolving and collaborative story. Listening to it as a conversation between artists, the listener is introduced to the various connections making him/her an integral part of the movement.

For Respekt 166, we welcome Stiv Hey for his first full EP on the label. The release kicks off with 'Can't Stop'; a stone-cold dancefloor destroyer with it's seismic kickdrum, swirling vocal loops and percussive synth hook. Backing it up is 'Control', a slightly deeper take on Stiv's sound, powered by a huge offbeat bass and topped with cool, proggy chords.
As if these two monsters weren't enough, we have a double bill of debut remixers too. Brennen Grey cranks up the drones on his remix of 'Can't Stop', and Juliet Fox takes us on a trip deep into acid territory with her monster rework of 'Control'.

We welcome back Ferhat Albayrak to Tronic for a 4 track EP. Ferhat is already one of the biggest DJ's in Turkey and we really like and support his productions. 'Unchained Melody'' has an old school techno vibe with dark chord progressions, that is not often heard in today's techno sets. We recruited one of our favourite producers Andre Crom for remix duties. He added this signature energy without compromise! 'Whee Whoo' and 'Blue Owsley' have also been tested many times and always deliver the goods on the floor.
