Moments In Time is a new Manchester based label run by Mark Bradbury aka Rudosa who kicked off the labels first release ‘Obsolescence’ in 2019. This March the label releases their second VA, consisting of 8 original tracks. The VA concludes with Selective Response’s ‘Waking Up Alone’. Warped synth lines and shifting hi-hat patterns carry this track into a trance-like state of hypnosis. Infusions of acid cut into the mix at the track’s midpoint seamlessly bringing forth a flurry of sirens and breakneck drums.

Moments In Time is a new Manchester based label run by Mark Bradbury aka Rudosa who kicked off the labels first release ‘Obsolescence’ in 2019. This March the label releases their second VA, consisting of 8 original tracks. Rudosa hammers down the doors for the VA’s opening track ‘Viable Entity’. Instantaneously setting the tone with an arsenal of clambering hi-hats and a kick drum thick enough to bring down a building.

DAHYRL quickly follows suit with ‘Reviere’, an equally vigorous hard-hitting ensemble of stomping kicks and dashing arpeggiators. The Belfast producer masterfully intertwines trance-like synth builds with clattering percussive elements for a powerhouse track fit for the wildest of nights.

We premiere a track from the excellent Moments In Time Varios Artist compilation today. Moments In Time is a new Manchester based label run by Mark Bradbury aka Rudosa who kicked off the labels first release ‘Obsolescence’ in 2019. 

This March the label releases their second VA, consisting of 8 original tracks. London’s Charlie Sparks cracks open the second half of the compilation with ‘Phobia’. A laser-infused techno roller with a hypnotic vocal accompaniment inducing fear and adrenaline into the dance.

Moments in Time is gearing up for an exciting and busy schedule of releases in 2021, featuring some of the world’s greatest up and coming Techno artists, this hand-picked compilation by the label’s founder Rudosa stands as a reminder of those rave-inspired memories we all long for. To be transported back to a particular feeling or ‘Moment in Time’.

​About a year ago we had Clouded Vision boss Matt Walsh go In Session for us. What he delivered was an hour of wriggly and writhing techno cuts, with Locked Groove, Daniel Avery and Ripperton all included.

Shelter is our latest release from Clint Stewart and it's a benchmark in the catalog as it's the first time any of our releases have included a remix. And, for that remix, we showed no restraint, commissioning our very own, man of the hour, Stephan Hinz.

As you dive into the first cut off the EP, 'Shelter', you instantly begin to take an excursion into the ethereal. Shimmers of distant audible light flicker in the backdrop as a hypnotic pulse tightens its grip, strapping you in for a trip deep into celestial territory. Long single blasts of deep bass and racing percussion thrust you further into the void until you're far from your point of origin. 'Shelter' is a journey into the vast, ever expanding reaches of impassioned sonics ideal for deeper dance floor antics.

On the flip is 'L714' and much like 'Shelter' it's a cosmic ride, but differs in the fact that it is exceedingly relentless. Eery string like tones and massive low end bursts set the stage for a narcotic, swirling lead that parallels a comet hurtling through the ether. Bits of it falling apart and leaving a visible tail of particles in it's wake creating the ideal flip to 'Shelter'. Where both originals may have left something to be desired for those who want it heavy, Stephan Hinz fills that void. While staying undeniably true to the original 'L714', he adds only what he felt was missing. Taking the original to new heights with colossal drums and tension displayed with the arrangement of a cinematic masterpiece derived from another world. Overall, the 'Shelter Ep' is a complete package, hitting all emotions and leaving nothing to be desired no matter the time or situation.

Tackling the highlights of Nick Höppner's recent full-length Folk is rock solid BR fav, The Black Madonna, who has (surprise, surprise!) turned it into a stormer. Accompanied, as usual, by an eminently "Relate"-able message of humble gratitude, the real calling cards here are the rising, rousing synths that wouldn't sound out of place on a vintage Severed Heads 12". We're informed that it's a Panorama Bar melter, which makes sense: what begins an inviting outstretched palm winds up a slamming clenched fist.

The Folk remix 12" is out very soon, via Ostgut Ton. Keep eyes peeled.
