Phyr Records is the new label from Italy's Pyramidal Decode that has featured top artists like Takaaki Itoh, Dimi Angélis, PWCCA, and Oliver Rosemann, since launching in 2024. Now presenting a joint LP release with Oscar Mulero titled 'Il Poema,' this follows four albums already in just three years.

Oscar Mulero is known for his standout cyclical sound and running the PoleGroup and Warm Up imprints as well as contributing to influential labels like Kr!z’s Token and P.E.A.R.L.’s Falling Ethics.

For this DT:Premiere we selected "Caronte" that's heady and twisted modular session. Bursts of frantic percussion combines with a clashing, bleeping symphony of analogue signals and sirens for an intense session with raw tool-like sound.

Following on from 2024's "Distant Landscapes EP" alongside Tensal, Amorphic returns (solo this time) to James Ruskin's Blueprint Records with a new ten-track album released digitally and as two four-track vinyl EPs released simultaneously.

Amorphic is a pseudonym of Scottish artist Vince Watson to explore more raw and hypnotic signatures. Launched in 2022, Amorphic has featured on labels such as Token, Symbolism and Modularz as well as the two labels Vince runs himself: Amorphic and Morph.

With almost 30 years in the industry, Vince has released over 1000 tracks, which has allowed him to work and gig with some of the very best in that time including Laurent Garnier, Richie Hawtin, Carl Craig and in this year, Vince will release an LP with Carl Cox on his label Awesome Soundwave. As a touring musician has been able to play at some of the world's best clubs as both Amorphic and Vince Watson, including a residency at Tresor Berlin, DC10 Ibiza with Carl Cox, Berghain and Womb Tokyo as well as being a current resident of 909 Festival in Amsterdam.

VARIA is pleased to present the next episode in its podcast series, featuring Vincent Neumann.

Avid music collector, DJ's DJ, Vincent Neumann has gathered a loyal underground following by word of mouth, with consistently brilliant closing sets and long patient vinyl orientated mixing. 

Born, raised and currently residing in Leipzig, Vincent Neumann works as a psychotherapist during the day and as a dj by night. As one of the residents of Leipzig's Distillery since 2012, he happily gets to share his passion for dance music regularly. 

The vibes during his DJ sets are regularly described as energetic, driving, enthusiastic and sometimes even relentless, without ever sacrificing taste, quality and joyfulness. For him, authenticity will always stand above fame, and if you witness one of his marathon sets at Berghain or elsewhere you will understand what the fuss is about. 

In order to further plant his musical footprint into the sticky melange of spilled drinks and cigarettes on the world’s dancefloors, Vincent founded his own label, Unitas Multiplex, in 2020. So far highly acclaimed releases from the likes of Billie Joe, Fundamental Interaction, Inter Gritty and Linn Elisabet have seen the light of the day, with more to be expected in the future. Who knows, maybe he will even release music from his own feather sometime in the distant future. Until then you can definitely keep relying on his contagious energy and taste behind the decks.
This episode continues VARIA’s mission: championing considered electronic expression and lasting artistry.

Confusion’s Vakuum EP lands as the initial release of a new imprint with the same name
founded by the artist himself. The first release marks a six-track exploration in stripped-down,
minimalist sound design. Raw machine energy and hypnotic repetition drive the record, each
cut crafted with precision and clarity. The result is a deep, timeless release that embodies the
essence of modular production: focused, uncompromising, and endlessly absorbing. A true
statement of intent for both the label and the artist.

The A1 title track sets the deep foundation with a tense ambient soundscape trip, before
“Bleep Blues” continues with a sci-fi as well as drum heavy workout on the A2. Rounding off
the A-side, “Protovision” explores unknown textured realms and highlighted stabs in key
moments.

On the B-side, “Fog” drives a journey between the dark and the light, with a rhythmic but
moving low-end and an effective gritty lead, while the B2 continues with a stretched light pad
fighting with a repetitive bleep. “DT229” closes the record, diving into broken rhythms and
more melodic spheres.
