A name that has become synonymous with club driven techno in recent years, and armed with a catalogue of classy techno to show for it, German native Phil Berg steps up to leave his mark on the SK_X series with the ‘Raid’ EP.
The title track leads the 20th instalment of the SK_X series with an assortment of growling basslines, rolling percussion and rising synth-lines. ‘Y-Axis’ concludes the A side with a hypnotic synth groove complimented by an eerie atmosphere and texture throughout. The flip side breaks with ‘Kamino’, a dark affair packed with punchy kick drums, plucky bass and rhythmic percs. The record resolves with ‘Sinara’, a euphoric journey consisting of lush pads and rattling tones for its duration.

@connwax-records celebrates its 10th release with a diverse four-track EP featuring contributions from Carlotta Jacobi, Oliver Rosemann, Justyn Nell, and Red Rooms. Connwax 10 presents a well-rounded selection of dancefloor-effective techno tracks, each offering its own unique energy and character.

Carlotta Jacobi opens the EP with “Stories Untold”, an intense floor-filler that blends bleepy synths with crisp and punchy percussion, creating an impactful introduction. Following up on the A-side, Oliver Rosemann’s “Infected” takes a more raw approach, channeling classic 90s techno vibes with eerie synths.

On the B-side, Justyn Nell’s “Tiles” delivers a deeper, captivating sound, merging demanding percussion and layered textures. Red Rooms wraps things up with “Undercover Expeditions”, a dreamy, flowy track that takes the listener to another sphere.

Amorphic & Tensal join James Ruskin's Blueprint Records family with their "Distant Landscapes EP" this December, which closes out the label's 2024 catalogue.

Amorphic is the pseudonym of Scottish artist Vince Watson, aimed at exploring more raw and hypnotic signatures. Launched in 2022, Amorphic has featured on labels like Token, Symbolism and Modularz as well as Vince's self-formed labels Amorphic and Morph. With almost 30 years in the industry, Vince has released over 1000 tracks, which has allowed him to work and gig with some of the very best. He now teams up with Spanish artist Tensal for this new EP.

Tensal is the alias of Héctor Sandoval (who is also one half of Exium, Komatssu and Selección Natural), created to give space to his more cyclical and modern vision of Techno in which he combines different rhythms and textures. After a handful of works released on his own label, he has recorded for the likes of Mord, Modularz, Arcing Seas, Warm Up, Perc Trax, Cabrera, Polegroup (of which he is a founding member) and Soma, where he released his first LP in 2018.

Together they've drawn on their individual skills to deliver 4 deep and driving Techno cuts that perfectly fit James Ruskin's influential label.
