Gautham Garg brings some serious minimal 90s high energy Midwestern techno heat with his first vinyl release under his CRATAN alias.

Gautham already has many loop techno releases under his DECODER alias--including an upcoming release on AXIS RECORDS--that have earned him accolades from MATRIXXMAN, LUKE SLATER, and the like. He's part of the new wave of young DJs and producers taking techno to its next no-bullshit crest. He runs ESP COLLECTIVE alongside MAX WATTS, tastefully curating their events and releases alike...techno fast, hard, and anxiously hypnotic.

On "Boulder" you'll find two sides of minimal techno at its most delightful. On the A side you have "Secondary" and the title track "Boulder". These two cuts of up-tempo, minimal hyphy techno a la 90s JEFF MILLS, JOEY BELTRAM, and ROBERT HOOD will really bring the stomp out. Switch to the B side, and "Paragon" brings the techno 4/4 speed with a cranked up reggaeton undercurrent. Then "Memo" closes out the EP with a hypnotic techno banger that would definitely fit snug in a BEN KLOCK Berghain set.

This is techno, and it's moving fast. Keep up!

The project was born from a collaboration with Viktoria, a Ukrainian busker Löhlein met on Stuttgart’s Königstraße. After having suffered the loss of her husband, Viktoria fends for herself and her son by playing music and singing Russian songs on the streets of Stuttgart. But in times of Corona, empty streets make it impossible for her to earn enough to survive. It was then, in April 2020, when David Löhlein met her and was inspired to work on a project with her. The profits from all of the sales from this collaboration, however, benefit Viktoria and her son.

The record consists of the three 2020 digi singles, as well as three new tracks showcasing Linn Elisabets trademark sound of etheral, hard hitting techno which transgresses the dancefloor into a gender identity, and dance music rebellion.

Alongside the record Acts Of Rebellion also announces the ACT004 feat. MIT-Y, an online based interactive game and audio visual installation exploring hypogognition, linguistics and identity beyond the bodily experience.

North American Amusement is Pouch Envy's debut EP, the first installment of his conceptual take on club and rave culture. Three original tracks inspired by New York’s rising rave scene and the sensation that lingers in your body after returning home from the club. A distinct state of consciousness in which most of the tracks on this EP were produced.
