Paul Hauck and IGLO teaming up for their first collaboration coming in a 7-tracker-EP ‚Blurred Fusion‘ with 3 remixes by Alarico, TWR72 and Rove Ranger. With both being quite new to the techno scene, they already can look back on a lot of releases on either labels like Akronym, BCCO or Bomphcast or self releases.
This EP brings together the best of both, uniting a unique imagination of sound. Pauls-typical raw vocals and ruthless lowend grooves meet more IGLO-like deep/hypnotic sound design and weird textures to generate an already by prominent DJ’s strongly supported EP. The Remixes will give the listener a very strong impression of what the remixers are about. Alarico getting unconvential and weird as always finding crazy swings to make tracks standout, while TWR72 just tears down the roof. Ending this EP with maybe one of the biggest summer tracks this year, Rove Ranger brings his Dub-influence on the EP. This will be the start of more collaborations for them, giving you a taste of what is more to come in the future.

SHDW’s label Mutual Rytm rounds out another year with 'Symbiosis' - an excellent split EP from Greek artists ANNĒ & Sera J, featuring six fresh cuts and four digital bonuses.

The release title comes from the Greek word 'συμβίωσις', which means living closely together for a significant period and can be used to speak of a mutually beneficial interaction between individuals. And that is precisely what can be said of ANNĒ and Sera J, who have grown through life as partners and, more recently, as musical peers. This split EP is their first release alongside one another, and one that presents the story of their innermost feelings, with their full label debut following fine contributions to the label's 'Federation Of Rytm II' compilation back in March.

ANNĒ has had a busy few years making her mark with potent techno on labels such as Soma, Hardgroove, and Life In Patterns, while Sera J is just as revered for his tunes on the likes of Out Of Place, DifferentSound and more.

ANNĒ takes the A-side, firstly with the fiery diva vocals and thumping techno drums of 'Heal My Soul' and then the more physical and banging drum programming of 'Turn Back Time'. It's a big, metallic cut with rumbling bass and sleek synths peeling off the groove, while her final track 'Zephyrus' has plenty of infectious bounce and eerie pads to keep dancers on their toes.

On the flip, Sera J kicks off with the electrifying synth stabs and cantering techno power of 'Blue Dancers' and then offers up 'Common People' as twisted leads and slamming drums all run through with alien sound effects and bright stabs. To close, 'Delusion' is a psychedelic cut with roaming leads that bring plenty of cosmic energy to the unrelenting kicks.

In addition, each artist serves up a pair of digital bonuses: ANNĒ with the hurried funk of 'Serene' and loopy intensity of 'Victor', and Sera J with the liquid, dubby dynamics of the hard-hitting 'Intensity' and monstrous energy of 'Bodies Don't Lie.'

As a thank you to our beloved community that showed us nothing but support and ap- preciation over the last year, Schimmer Records is releasing a compilation of 27 tracks by our residents and invited artists.

Just as we did last year, we want to use our reach to address the more serious issues the global community faces today and help the less fortunate. Especially the most vulnerable of us, children can suffer under the consequences of the action of others: Abuse, a lack of access to education and misplacement become rampant in times of war and conflict.

Thus, this year we feel the proceeds raised from our Christmas album, which is 15 Euro for the whole album, are best placed with “Save The Children“. After the release is funded 100% of our earnings will go towards the goal of helping children in need.

We wish you a very happy Christmas, a joyful time with the people dearest to you and a happy new year. See you in 2024!

IMF kicks off 2025 by unifying different generations on `The Past Voices EP'. It arrives on 7th February and features much-anticipated debut tracks from Tarkno alongside fellow new school talent The Sixth Sense who also goes solo on the flip while veteran Stigmata remixes.
