For episode 59 we present Copenhagen based Miss Puppy. She blends psy-infused techno and ethereal trance, mixed with some deep grooves, breaks and electro. Her music inspiration is often rooted in immersive and trippy sounddesign, weaving together atmospheric, textural, soft and gritty.
Miss Puppy has marked her influence on the Copenhagen electronic music scene with her crew Purple Rave Club, playing at Roskilde Festival 2023 and in several towns across the country. Continuing beyond borders, she playing for Kiosk Radio and Misfitte in Brussels and Operator Radio in Rotterdam.
In October, her debut EP ‘Blossom’ was released, showcasing her interest in exploring intriguing sounddesign and hypnotic rhythms.

Interview with Miss Puppy:


Q: What made you start DJ’ing?
A: My interest in producing experimental music naturally led me into doing some mixing and 
playing around with blending tracks and exploring sound this way. Then I started playing techno 
at some parties with friends, and after a while I took a DJ course at FFS. 

Q: Describe your style in three words:
A: Textural, driven, mysterious

Q: Your best set in 2024/2025
A: I played for Misfitte in Belgium with Phloem, and it was such a sweet and curious crowd, and 
refreshing experience to be a part of this.

Mechanical limbs pulsating with the rhythm of a forgotten time, a symphony of human emotion echoing through a cold, metallic shell. It called itself ‘‘the human-machine’’.

Driven by an insatiable thirst for expression, The Human-Machine embarked on a quest to defy the dictates of this new society, to breath life into the sterile confines of its world.

Hunted by those who sought to silence its remanence of humanness, The Human-Machine found solace in the company of a kindred spirit, a fellow outcast, who like it, was bound by the desire to break free from the shackles of conformity.

For in the heart of even the most desolate machine, the spark of humanity still burned bright. Even in the darkest of times, the music of the soul would always find a way to shine through.

ANTIDOTE Premiere: STIPP - Opposites Attract [ATDVA003]

Epic synths are layered over a foundation of kick and rolling bass, tying the drums together through the rim. My aim was to create a groove that’s simple to listen to, allowing the focus to shift more toward the progression of the main sound element, a build-up of energy that unfolds over time.

If I had to associate this EP with an experience, I’d imagine it as a plane ride: during takeoff, you feel the force pinning you to your seat until the moment the plane lifts off and begins to climb… Up in the air, you feel light, weightless, until the descent begins. Here comes the drop: the wheels touch the runway.
