Marius Vatne aka Marius V is from Trondheim, Norway. Being a fan of the club music scene for many years, he started to experience with the art of mixing of his own which instantly proved others he's got a talent in it. He loves to play modern, groovy and balanced techno with deep bass lines in company with dark melodies and breathtaking vocals. Nowadays he plays most underground Tech House and minimal with soul.  Marius V made his debut in May 2019 playing on Næverland 2 which is a open air event in the forest around the city of Trondheim. Shortly after he was invited to make a guest mix for Vibes Radio Station. The biggest electronic music radio platform in Bulgaria. Marius V is a quick learning artist. Expect from him heart, soul and energy behind the decks. And after this he has be palying on multiples underground party's and clubs. He is also on of the organizer behind Desier. Coming from South Italy, showed Interest to electronic music from early age, started his djing career in 2014, playing in the clubs around his town, experiencing immediate success and approaching to producing word the year later, in 2015, when, one of his first records, released on “Dope Recordings”, which was played from Alan Fitzpatrik at wordwide knowed Awakenigs Festivals (Amsterdam – NL).
After some strong performances, he becomes resident at “Infestazioni Soniche Festival” in Vieste (IT), considered one of the major and greatest “free beach festival” of the whole Europe. In 2016, he released “She is Insanity” Ep, On Decoy Records, Rebekah’s Label, got played by biggest dj in the scene. Followed then releases on Trau-ma, Reload Records and Riot.
Moved in Turin, in 2019,  he became a Dj Resident of Over, one of the best Techno nights in Turin, shared the decks with artists like Adam Beyer, Regal , Farrago , Fatima Hajji , Enrico Sangiuliano and the “Seat Stage” of KappaFuturFestival with Sam Paganini , Amelie Lens and Charlotte De Witte. Recent releases on DSR, Luft and Himmel  have been supported by Joseph Capriati, Luca Agnelli, Amelie Lens, Charlotte De Witte, Joyhauser and more. Versatility, groove and massive bassline are the fundamental elements that characterize his sets and his productions.

For Trans Awareness Week 2025, we’re spotlighting trans and non-binary artists with a special SoundCloud mix series curated by BODYSHIFT. Each set is an invitation to listen with an open heart, to care, and to act with intention.

Awareness means listening, amplifying, and protecting what’s vulnerable and too often unheard. When dignity is debated, we choose action: book, pay, credit, platform, and protect trans and non-binary artists. Visibility matters. Joy matters. Safety matters. Let’s make all three non-negotiable for the future leading to Trans Day of Remembrance on 20th of November.
