BCCO x SoundCloud New Faces S04E20: CURE_CODE

David Castellani is a modular synth-focused live artist whose curiosity for sound and technology shapes both his performances and his process. He’s the designer of the Precision Disrupter sequencer—used by the likes of Richie Hawtin and The Chemical Brothers—and led a sold-out modular synthesis workshop at ADE Lab in 2024.

He’s performed alongside artists such as Octave One, Etapp Kyle, Paula Temple, Speedy J, and Shlømo, with highlights including a 360° Live AV Experience with Colin Benders and ONYVAA, and two Mixmag LA streams: *Metanoia* (2022) and *Hysteria Dichotic* (2023). His label, Noetic, is home to his own productions and remixes from names like Etapp Kyle, Matrixxman, Voiski, Ken Ishii, Redshape, and DJ Hyperactive.

This BCCO set was recorded live at Tank in Bologna—home to the brilliant crew behind NNNAAAMMM. With its passionate local scene, Bologna offers a rare kind of community, and this show was a standout moment of the year for this artist. The set is packed with pushy, high-energy grooves and ravey tops, recorded in a room full of "proper electronic heads".
