From all of the mixes in Season 4, four will be chosen by the Tresor Booking Team to play at our New Faces event on Wednesday 6th August 2025

One more winer will be chosen by BCCO to play at a BCCO event later this year

Esteban:Lo is a Mexican‑born DJ and producer based in Lisbon and founder of the bass heavy collective Hella Bass. His sound blends hard trance and hard techno into improvisational journeys that reflect his personal expression.

This mix opens with the energy of hard trance, drawing listeners in with intense melodies, loops and powerful beats before shifting into hard techno driven by deep, reflective rhythms. It returns to hard trance for a closing section of emotive melodies that share the artist’s feelings, creating a focused, improvised journey.

Señor21 is a Berlin‑based DJ and member of Kanzlerkollektiv who brings techno and hardgroove to the city’s parks and forgotten spaces. He moves fluidly between genres, blending tracks in unexpected ways to create dancefloor‑focused sets centred on driving rhythms.

This mix begins with groovy, focused techno before shifting into hardgroove and heavy basslines. To maintain variation and momentum, it weaves in ghetto‑house classics and hip‑hop‑tek edits throughout.

400 Coups, Minuit is a French DJ whose sound blends hypnotic techno and shimmering grooves with darker, dystopian atmospheres. Drawing on a classical music background and influences from punk, industrial and experimental textures, her sets create immersive, dreamlike soundscapes inspired by literature and cinema.

This mix is structured as a cycle, opening and closing with Ryoji Ikeda’s experimental track “data.matrix” before moving through cold, hypnotic techno into a hard‑groove peak with Speleon’s “Cave.” A tempo break features a percussion solo, then the energy shifts into calmer, hypnotic techno that returns to “data.matrix,” exploring the spaces between rhythm and abstraction over one hour.
