The first edition of the Fast Forward Audio Series for this decade, we present to you a special collaborative effort between Viscerale and Adam Askov of Funeral Future, they named the mix "Life is not a Beach". It came about as the result of a close friendship that was formed a year ago.
The tracks featured in the mix were all fixtures at the local club Tuben back in the early ‘00s and have been superbly mixed by Viscerale. It’s a rare glimpse into a sound that preceded our own contributions to the Copenhagen techno.

For the past four years these Cardiff based lads have been jamming live techno. What started as a foray into music creation using analogue synthesis ended up becoming a hardware obsession which led them releasing music on CWP, Black Seam Records, Input Output and Ways To Die Records.
Over the years they have honed their skills on some of the most energetic dance floors in the country including a residency at Compound in Cardiff and regular appearances at Jaded (London), TRUK (Bristol) & Vaults (Cardiff).

Nicola Virnicchi is a disc jockey and producer born in Southern Italy in 1981. At the age of 13 he started to play his music in different small clubs in Campania until his debut in the most exclusive one; "The East Side”. Because of his unique underground style he became a resident DJ at the Alibi and soon after at the Qube in Rome.

In recent years he played on many consoles on the Adriatic coast (Prince of Riccione, in collaboration with Pacha Ibiza), in Salento (Parco Gondar) and finally he joined one of the most important international electronic festivals in South of Italy, known as
FLUSSI with his music.

In 2011 he co-founded the Party Label Dislike in Italy’s underground club scene where he collaborated with many international DJ’s.
In 2013 he created the live techno project Subion with Pier Giuseppe Mariconda and released Eliogabalo, a vinyl labeled by BLACKWATER, which quickly got resonance and success in the techno environment.

After a creative break with a lot of traveling, music research and festivals I’m back with new inspiration and creativity to provide you straight, uncompressing Techno music.
