Joining us this week is none other than WarinD. Known for his uncompromising style of hard industrial techno,  WarinD has traversed the european continent and beyond, delighting crowds with his engergetic DJ sets in some of the best clubs around, such as Basis, Tresor and Kompass Klub. To share his vision of the genre with his fans, WarinD founded WarinD Records in 2016, which allows him to focus on his own acid and distortion-driven sound, as well as promote fellow like-minded artists such as Scalameryia, Thomas P. Heckmann or DYEN. He himself has in turn also been the guest on many labels including Tripalium Corp, Overdraw or Instruments of Discipline. This mix features WarinD in full force, enjoy!

Clément Teixeira - a.k.a. CLTX - is a Parisian rising star within the techno scene, formulating productions that are highly influenced by the warehouse parties that shaped the Paris scene in the 2010’s. Experiencing music through multiple raves and club nights led him towards the creation of his CLTX techno project as well running his own TX & Autonome Records imprints.

His body of work as a producer displays a clear influence from his love for heavy metal music, which he exhibits through his high-octane sets that have been witnessed around the globe. In signature CLTX fashion, his contribution to EQUINOX Invites is full of the powerful kicks, rave-y vibes and raw structures he is known for.

Two like-minded shadows scouring through the night, distorted sounds hailing from the void, obscure images emerging out of the dark – a new musical formation has risen from the edge of our postmodern world: OVERDRIVE.

The musical duo, consisting of Synoid’s THAM and the Destroy To Rebuild head VII CIRCLE, have arrived to deliver some sorely needed sonic clarity to the raving nation. Processing the aching zeitgeist of this decade, the two artists have combined their technical craft and musical vision to create an artistic body of work second to few. Distorting sounds into a gaping pit of overwhelming sonic force, bending rhythms into patterns of ecstasy, multiplying harmonies, grooving them into the very present – OVERDRIVE is the name of the game.

What should you expect? – Unapologetic DJ sets, driven by an unquenchable thirst for rave. DJing, not understood as a blunt sequencing of matching records, but as building up musical narrations. Telling the stories of our youth, not with words but with synth lines, high hats, snares, and a hell of a lot of bass drum. Converting sonic energy into physical movement, transforming pain for a broken world into the blissful ecstasy of the night.
