This song came at a weird time. I had previously written the guitar part for this a while back, but deciding to record and finish it now wasn't what I had intended for it.

I recorded this a couple days after my grandfather's funeral while staying at my sister's. I had been struggling with expressing how I was feeling with everything going on, and I think my general frustration and grief went towards just putting this out there. It's a very simply constructed song with only 3 major parts, but stripping it down made it what it needed to be, well at least I think so.

While I also may have expressed my frustration in other, less constructive ways, focusing on my music and creative endeavours has been my guiding light during this dark time. I'm sure there will be more to come of this.
