The year was 1979. A distressed woman in red called out through the darkness of night to the mean streets of Spanish Harlem -- her cries went unanswered. "Give It To Me!" A knife-bearing man shouted at her, referring to the poor woman’s velvet purse. It wasn’t a coincidence that The Bearded Man, clad in white bell-bottoms and snazzy silk blouse trucked in at that exact moment. The knife immediately dropped to the ground as the would-be assailant turned and ran. No one. No one messes with The Bearded Man and gets away with it — except maybe AIMES.

Hard to find words for this beautiful release. Matvey Emerson with Rockaforte brought his Dreams to LoveStyle with Rene on the vocal duties. What should we say? It's so lovely, so amazing. Arranged him some great remixers like Mark Lower with his chilling and lovely style from France, the DBMM guys with their dancefloor killer deep remix from Switzerland and Vijay & Sofia Zlatko with a sweet nu disco remix from Belgium. The guys are done pretty nice job, you will definitely love their remixes. You can also find a bonus track on the EP in collabration with Alex Hook, and a Dub Mix.

Kids, maybe it’s about time you heard the story of how The Bearded Man met KRONO. Don’t worry, it’s not as long-winded as How I Met Your Mother. Rather, it’s a quite simple story. The Bearded Man was in Central Park, beating the locals at 6 simultaneous timed chess games. It wasn’t for the money -- it was for the pure sport of it. After all, serious thinking and competition are the only way to keep one’s beard and mind sharp at all times. There was one particularly difficult match, against two pesky young kids. The match ended in a draw, and The Bearded Man had to know who could possibly match his skills. It turned out it was KRONO, and a lifelong partnership was born, ultimately resulting in this remix of Chris Lago’s majestic tune ‘Royals’.

Last week, a casual listener of The Bearded Man asked somewhat jokingly: “Does The Bearded Man ever get a case of the Mondays?” While obviously an attempt at getting underneath the thickest skin there is, there’s more to the question than first meets the eye. See, the word “Monday” originally meant “day of the moon”, and this is something The Bearded Man knows better than most. It’s true that in his more contemplative moments, The Bearded Man requires deep introspection and time to reflect on the lusciousness of his beard. When better to do this than while basking in the glow of the night? Our hero celebrates the day of the moon and remembers to look up towards ‘The Sky’. There are more things in heaven and earth than are dreamt of in your philosophy, so just take a cue from Jyra and know that all will soon be well.
