Perihelion - Spring 2013 Zouk Mix

As Australia goes into Zouk overdrive for the next few weeks, the Spring 2013 Mix brings a collection of new and old beats that have been doing the rounds out on my zoukfloors.  Equal parts nostalgia and fresh but as always, smooth, easy Zouk.

Grounded in NeoZouk but taking it in a slightly different direction, deeper and more fluid, my Zouk has influences from my background in electronic dance music. Trance, chillstep and progstep inspired, the music is more relaxed and laid back with time to really enjoy.

Little known fact: The Bearded Man was once a champion barista from Silver Lake, California. He and his beard entered and won the world barista championship, before it was cool. The Bearded Man is a champion in everything he does, and he followed his beard all the way to Cimo Fränkel’s legendary vocals. When he heard KRONO was on board, he knew he had a winner smoother than the perfect cappuccino.
