“Disco Designer” is a musical and graphic project by the French composer and motion designer Alminia.

Between Pop and Electro and coated with Disco/Synthwave sonority, the album’s story takes place in an almost black and white world, where only the bright colored neon lights break the coldness of monochrome.

While the musical influences are those of good old Electro and French touch (Daft Punk, Kavinsky and Justice among others), the visual aspect is influenced by directors such as Nicolas Weding Refn, whose work is both directly referenced and inspired the song “Neon” as well as its music video (also created by Alminia).
