Wow guys, love this tribute to our brother, Carl. The frenetic groove reminds me of Mumford & Sons. Spectacular singing in here, too. In fact, everyone's part is top notch, including your guitarist, bassist, and drummer. Love the lyrics, too. Such a wonderful song, befitting of a wonderful guy. Love it, my friends!

Has a wonderful Gaelic cadence to it, which is perfectly fitting for a tribute to Carl!  A very fine tribute to a great musician, excellent work guys!

Had the pleasure of meeting Carl at a charity do once. He was surprisingly down to earth, and VERY funny.

Once upon a time, in a galaxy far, far away, there was a small group of music-loving aliens who decided to live among humans, blending in, absorbing their musical art, and trying to contribute with their own.😜
On a planet Earth plagued by wars, hatred, climate change, and junk food, with 99 percent of the wealth held by just 1 percent of humanity, these somewhat alienated aliens one day discovered that even the dark can be beautiful.
They discovered The Beautiful Dark (https://soundcloud.com/thebeautifuldark), simply Carl to his friends, living on a beautiful island not far from the chaos of the old continent, the noble Ireland.
So this little bunch of aliens with their questionably produced music decided that yes, absolutely, they had to at least try to pay tribute to that Earth artist who felt anything but Earthbound in his noble intentions.
They just had to do it. Especially after dear Carl helped ease the pain of our guitarist’s clumsy fall down the stairs with his poetry, music, and photography (she’s fine, don’t worry ). 😂

So here is our tribute to the awesome Carl. It’s a humble offering compared to his talent and refined art, but considering it was written, played, arranged, sung, produced, and mixed in just two days, it’s kind of a small miracle.

The song is in D minor, the perfect key to express both beauty and melancholy. It hopefully captures the very spirit of Ireland and the deep emotions behind “The Beautiful Dark.” It’s as if the music itself builds a bridge between light and shadow, between solitude and hope.

Hey, you! Yeah, you... the one reading this! Don’t follow us, we’re aliens and vampires and totally addictive! 👽🧛🏻‍♀️🛸
🎸We’re a five-piece band jamming out of our so-called studio, tinkering with different styles and influences to create a sound that’s totally our own.
The band’s been around since 2015, and many of the tracks released so far are reworked and revisited versions of songs we wrote years ago.
We’re not professional musicians. We have other jobs and don’t even call ourselves musicians, more like loud entertainers with a message. We are here just to have fun in our free time. ✌🏻
