Founder of the Do Your Dance festival and an active member of the Deeper Vision collective, Joz champions an alternative and intimate scene in the Lille large area and in Paris. For this podcast, he offers us a funky escape, sun-drenched selection blending warmth and melancholy, showcasing technical precision and bold track choices.

Don’t be fool by his young age 🐣, he is the wisest of them all 👴🏼 Behind a profusion of badass projects, labels, parties and festivals, he’s a true driving force of the new breath of Marseille’s rave scene.

On top of it, Nathanaël is a very talented dj with his very own style and technique. Aerial and classy, his MRS is yet another demo of Nathanael’s perfect blend of fresh energy and ancient wisdom.

The LCDO podcast series continues with Zakir & his set that left a lasting impression in 2024, under the beloved « Chant des oiseaux » tent, the Nidoaso.
A Western-inspired, highly cinematic set, on which he worked passionately for over two years.
“At first, I started collecting Western tracks kind of by accident, and then gradually I ended up with several, without even looking for them. So I thought there was something to build from these sounds.”
Over those two years, he kept digging for Western gems, without pressure, but with a clear determination to make sense of it all: recording a set, starting over, listening back, dozens of times. Digging again.

This set is ultimately an adventure : an artist’s desire to tell us a story, and a true will to offer a listening experience that explores a singular, unexpected aesthetic.

NICCKO - Better Now

A few months ago, I started having one on one video chats with people on the internet, completely at random, on an Omegle-like platform. Must have been thousands of people. Conversation duration would vary—from a few seconds up to, say, 2–3 hours. Talked with people all over the world. Various languages, ethnicities, ages, etc. Soldiers in combat zones, neo-Nazis, flat-earthers, opera singers, Zulu tribe members, boxers, gypsies, oil rig workers, illegal immigrants, terminal cancer patients, Zionists, Talibans, Taliban victims, coke-addicted cops, rapping grandmas, gay Muslims... And of course, also a ton of "normal" people that were nonetheless just as interesting. For most of these interactions, I tried to channel my inner Louis Theroux and not pass judgment.

After a while, I felt the need to document this new hobby of mine. Started taking notes, then later would ask people to say something random I could record. Often, I would be making a track already, then would record someone and add it to the track immediately. So in that way, the tracks would influence the recordings, and the recordings would influence the tracks.

I tried to keep this collaborative theme throughout this release, and worked with this Tbilisi (Georgia) dancer to make a video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B5nSjlUKvN0), and with a Russian label I really like for distribution.
