Magdalena's international presence is truly remarkable, having graced renowned clubs and venues around the globe. Her performances include iconic destinations like Carl Cox’s Brooklyn Mirage event, Teksupport, Afterlife, Resistance, Ultra Miami, Miami Space, Watergate, Boiler Room, Cercle, Tomorrowland, Ibiza's Pacha and Amnesia, Watergate Berlin, as well as participation in major festivals worldwide such as Melt, Tomorrowland, and Sonus Festival.

Over the last ten years, the musical adventure that connects David López. Has carved out an important slot in the electronic scene, being deeply specialized in progressive-house sounds and fascinating melodic techno.

Since then, this guy from La Mancha (Spain) has not stopped their growth, publishing material on such important European labels as the Berlin label Exploited or on Diynamic Music, besides the popular Solomun at the helm.

At the same time, Lopezhouse was noticed by an electronic legend such as the British musician John Digweed, who bet heavily on them by being signed by Bedrock Records to release several EP’s and the awesome debut album entitled Apollo that was released at the end of 2021.

Last, but not least, in 2021 he published Apollo, their first full-length work. It is their most daring and experimental work up to date, moving away from the dance floor with a search of krautrock and post-rock essences in tune with other styles such as ambient, synth-wave and dark disco. It can be considered as a turning point in their career that opens 2022 with renewed energy for offering the public a new live show full of soul, character and quality that will continue that upward last decade trajectory.

Finally, nowadays Lopezhouse has 7 EP’s and 1 album in Bedrock Records and he is doing many gigs around the world showing his music!

Dance Spirit is a duo dedicated to the attainment of subconscious harmony through rhythm, timbre, melody and movement. Based in Los Angeles, they’ve forged these elements into a vehicle of positive change through the medium of live electronic music.

Esoteric as it may sound, their philosophy has yielded achievements of substance. Championed by such respected labels as Get Physical Music, Crosstown Rebels and Bedrock Music, they have made a lasting mark on the global dance music landscape. Their all-original live sets have garnered them worldwide renown, but somehow the years to come look to be the brightest yet.

The seeds that would eventually grow into Dance Spirit were sown when Christopher Mohn befriended Reagan Denius owing to their shared love of progressive house. The former musician was born in Durango, Colorado and the latter in Austin, Texas - but they both grew up in Southern California and met in 2006 while working together for San Diego promoter Realivze Tribe. After shelving a previous techno project, Mohn and Denius debuted Dance Spirit live on The Rooftop of The Standard Downtown LA during a 2011 installment of Harmonic’s Bask event series.

2013 marked a major turning point for the duo. Between sharing the stage with Mr. C at underground warehouse parties and getting their Manifest EP signed to Audiofly’s Supernature imprint, they began to cultivate an international fan base. By the end of the year they had landed a residency with the Flying Circus event series at Sankeys Ibiza, and 2014 saw them tour throughout the U.S. and Mexico.

In addition to the SacBe industry parties in Tulum, a Superfreq label showcase at Fabric London, and Katerblau in Berlin, Dance Spirit has brought their improvisational brand of house music to nightclubs like The Great Northern, Public Works and Monarch in San Francisco as well as holding down a residency at Do Not Sit On The Furniture in Miami. As far as festivals are concerned, their résumé includes performances at such staples as Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, Lightning In A Bottle and Piknic Electronik Barcelona as well as Burning Man sound camps like Music Savages, Pink Mammoth and Robot Heart.

Meanwhile, Dance Spirit’s tireless work ethic in the studio has earned them releases on countless world-class house and techno labels. Among the highlights of their discography is their 2014 effort Take In The Night EP on Superfreq and a collaborative EP with Audiofly titled Angel Eyes that arrived by way of Mobilee Records in 2016. The latter year they also teamed up with David Scuba on an EP titled Dust that came out on Desert Hearts Records, and released the Drowning In Irises EP on Rebellion.

2017 saw the duo debut on Bedrock Records with a three-tracker called the Thoughts Like Stars EP among other releases. In the summer of 2018 they released the two-track EP Space Portal to the Heavens on Get Physical Music after collaborating with Cari Golden on the Wash Me Clean EP via Lee Burridge and Hoj’s Tale + Tone imprint.

By incorporating analog drum machines, synthesizers live vocals into their engaging performances, Dance Spirit craft mesmerizing progressive house soundscapes with subtle hints of ambient and minimal techno. Publications like Thump, Mixmag and Attack Magazine have published features on the duo, and they’ve contributed guest mixes for such iconic series as Get Physical Radio and Transitions with John Digweed. As big as their audience has grown, their vision has remained the same: to be a beacon of light on otherwise dark dance floors.

For the foreseeable future, Dance Spirit have solidified their role as a permanent fixture in the world of underground electronic music. As always, they’re content to let the music speak for itself.

Stelios Vassiloudis is a multifaceted composer, producer and DJ, originally hailing from Athens, Greece. Active in the electronic music since the early 2000s, he has cultivated a sound of his own - one that reflects his rich and diverse musical background, transcending the dance floor via an emotional narrative of complex soundscapes, intricate harmonies and hypnotic rhythms.

Classically trained, with a Bachelor’s degree in acoustical engineering and a Master’s degree in composition and arrangement, Stelios carved his path in electronic music by traversing the globe
as a DJ and live performer, performing at premier venues the world over - intimate underground spots in Beirut, festivals in Miami, afterhours in Tokyo and mega clubs in Ibiza.

His studio prowess and coveted productions have cemented his reputation as a versatile and acclaimed artist, as he has developed a formidable discography of LPs, EPs and remixes on iconic labels like Bedrock, Ovum, Rejected and Dubwax as well as underground tastemakers such as Sungate, Constant Sound and Apparel.

Not one to shy away from experimentation, the talent’s impressive back catalogue features a flush tapestry of influences from across the dance music spectrum. His impeccable technical knowledge and expansive musical lexicon allow him to make regular forays into disparate genres from raw peaktime techno to atmospheric ambient and delicate lo-fi beats to futuristic drum n bass.

Recently relocating to SE Asia, Stelios has truly become immersed in the region’s flourishing scene - becoming a regular fixture on the circuit from Mumbai to Seoul, Beijing to Bali and all points in between. His willingness to take on new challenges is best exemplified through his latest endeavours: “Dafbau”, an eclectic, east meets west bimonthly party concept, firmly rooted in the
vibrant Hong Kong underground which he curates alongside Anthony2 and “Sonic!”, which is a boutique music festival and arts gathering in Da Nang, Vietnam.

Stelios’ intense passion and drive for progression in music serves as the fuel that keeps him inspired and relevant; qualities that no doubt ensure his continued reputation as a high calibre artist.

Matthew ‘Bushwacka’ B, a percussionist in the London School Symphony Orchestra who was converted into a member of the infamous Rat Pack after a warehouse party in ’88, has been DJing for over 30 years now. From that first Acid House experience Matthew quickly started playing all over London, holding residencies at four of the most famous clubs in town by the time he was 18 years old. From London the gigs spread countrywide, doing up to 8 shows a weekend, and then into Europe and the USA by 1992.
 
It was via a mutual friend Mr C that Layo & Bushwacka! first met, whilst Matthew was working at his studio, and by the mid 90s the two had started writing music together. Over a decade later, the partnership has yielded three artist albums, three mix albums, internationally renowned club residencies and a superb record label. 

By 1999 they’d already composed their debut album, ‘Low Life’, released on End Recordings, the label spawned by The End. The album announced the arrival of the duo as a force in electronic music, with a record that brought together electro, house and breakbeat fused with blues, dub and downtempo, all underpinned and informed by their collective experience of underground culture. This inclusive and open minded approach to sound became the blueprint for their future work.

Their sophomore album followed in 2002, this time released on the mighty XL Recordings. Entitled ‘Night Works’, the record featured their unforgettable top ten hit ‘Love Story’, and took their sound onto a bigger and broader canvas, charting all over the in the process. The accompanying live show brought further acclaim with stunning shows from Homelands to Sonar, whilst their famous DJ sets had now garnered residencies at some of the world’s finest clubs including Space in Ibiza, Warung in Brasil and of course The End in London. While this explosion was happening, Matthew was also achieving huge solo success with his remixes for Depeche Mode, his bootleg of Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean, and getting phone calls from Madonna wanting him to work on her music. It was a crazy time. 

Their End residency, known as All Night Long, became one of the capital’s most revered nights with Layo & Bushwacka! taking the club through an edifying tour-de-force of electronic music.
 
When The End closed its doors for the last time in 2009, Layo and Bushwacka! started the Shake It brand and threw amazing warehouse parties all over London, booking Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Magda, Laurent Garnier and many other friends, and created dancefloor destruction for 4 years. The parties were legendary, the energy incredible.


Layo & Bushwacka!’s reputation as two of the world’s foremost DJ duos is rock solid. Four artist albums have proven them remarkably talented producers, capable of mixing styles, tempos and genres to create enduring and engaging electronic music. Their trio of mix albums and international club residencies have shown they are masters of the turntables, sonic connoisseurs who can guide a dance floor on an epic journey through the many facets of their sound. Their label Olmeto meanwhile has become a bastion for quality, a label that, much like its figureheads, has become a rubber stamped seal of class, and many of their vinyl only releases have become sought after rarities.
 
In 2013 Bushwacka! took some time out to focus on his solo Just Be project, recording on Crosstown Rebels, Get Physical and Intec, while Layo created a new empire in Soho, of world class restaurants, applying his magic touch to everything he does. Five years later, Bushwacka! started touring and recording again under his original name, only on select shows and keeping it special for the fans, old and new.
