Coastill is a US Drum and Bass artist blending the brass, funk, and soul from his city of New Orleans with the raw and classic Bristol sound. Ever since importing his first Full Cycle release at 15, he has been working to bring his sound to the UK scene. In the USDNB circuit, Coastill has opened for major acts including Matrix and Futurebound, TC, Icicle, Adam F, Teddy Killerz, Trace, DJ Rap, Dara, Gridlok, and more. His first release on the legendary Ruffneck Ting, the Casino EP, is due out this summer and is getting support from the likes of DJ Dazee, Roni Size, and K Jah. He also recently released a dark jungle bootleg of Denzel Curry’s “Ricky” as well as a soulful rework of Khalid’s “Talk” which mixes NOLA horns with Bristol-tinged bass. Glassy Eye is a US Drum and Bass artist, NOLADNB resident DJ, producer, & electronic musician out of New Orleans. After years of lugging around synthesizers for bands, he discovered a passion for fast broken beats and in 2004 started performing as a solo electronic musical act opening for local DJs like Greenleaf, Atek, and J.Dub’L at Dragon’s Den. Glassy Eye began his DJ journey in 2007. A quick study, he became a founding member of the NOLADNB collective established in 2015 which he has helped grow into a nationally recognized staple of the city. As a DJ, Glassy Eye has opened for major acts including LTJ Bukem, Break, Monty, Spectrasoul, Visages, Degs, The Prototypes, Pola & Bryson, Fracture, Marcus Visionary, SpinScott, Paradox, Random Movement, Dave Owen, Ben Soundscape & Collette Warren plus many local acts. Glassy Eye has headlined many local events over the years. Determined to bring back the local dance scene after COVID, Glassy Eye co-created and hosts NOLADNB’s monthly party Jungle Punch alongside fellow resident Coastill. As a producer Glassy Eye has a couple of self releases available and two tracks on Phreak recordings. Glassy Eye is also a member of the New Orleans Synth Cult performing live with synthesizers and drum machines at various locations around the city.
