C-Beem took his artist handle from the finale of his favourite sci-fi film, Blade Runner, seeing it as a good fit for the largely synth-based style of his first two albums and much of acclaimed third album, 'Jammin' the Steam Towers'.

As a former digital and concept artist in the computer games industry, Chris enjoys making full use of his graphics background in all his promo, covers and videos. Chris has performed in various bands since his early teens, but only began writing and recording his own material on a more serious level since 2021.
