Over the last few years, it's been an absolute pleasure witnessing that passion flourish in all her creative forms - From DJing, Vinyl Collection, Hosting Record Fairs, Parties, Radio, and Bringing People Together.

An influential asset to Krd and its amazing music scene here is Tamaki Makaurau.

Known for his releases on Creme Records, Monstart, Sweat Equity, HTS, All Centre and Tresor, Zambian producer Wamya Tembo aka @shespellsdoom delivers an entrancing contribution to our podcast series. His inspirations stems from 80’s Sci-Fi/Horror movies, (Congolese) Rhumba/Soukous, Gqom and early 2000s Rap productions which he combines with House and Techno. And that’s to be felt in the mix. He bathes you in light soundscapes, a recurring recognisable bounce, radiant synth lines and soothing hypnotic melodies that come together as a cleansing of the soul. By gently playing with tempo changes and blending ethereal sounds with clubby percussion he keeps you locked in a tension building deep groove. Baby Kiko is a dear friend of ours that we, unfortunately, didn't get to see play live in Poneke prior to her boost (as we are in Tamaki), but it's a great triumph that we pulled this secret weapon set before the departure so we can have one last dance. 

We miss her sets/broadcasts coming through the e-waves/airwaves of Mouthfull Radio, but for all dem fans like us - We got you!
