Sciama's DJ set kicked off the third day of performances curated at Castell de Montjuïc for Mostra 23 (@mostrabcn). The second edition of the Catalan festival brought together a total of 1,000 people across two different locations and featured four days of musical acts. The lineup included 31 artists who delivered high-quality avant-garde and experimental electronic sounds.

Samuel van Dijk is a Dutch electronic music producer and DJ who explores contrasts in his music, blending genres like electro, techno, dub, and ambient. Under his aliases - VC-118A, Mohlao (@mohlao), and Multicast Dynamics (@multicastdynamics) -he creates immersive soundscapes that move from outer space to oceanic depths. His modular approach to live performances allows him to shift from energetic breakbeats to abstract, textured soundscapes. With releases on respected labels such as Delsin and Frustrated Funk, van Dijk's work is known for its melancholic moods and deeply absorbing grooves, whether in clubs or experimental settings. His sets range from gritty techno and futuristic electro to atmospheric ambient, always delivering emotionally rich experiences.

..A lucid dream is a dream in which a person becomes aware that he or she is dreaming and it becomes quite different from an ordinary dream.  For one thing It can be strikingly realistic to the point of producing a convincing replica of the normal physical world and for another it has its own psychological characteristics and range of emotional reactions which have to be considered independently of these experienced in normal dreaming..."

In the late 1960s, psychologists Celia Green and Charles McCreery published Lucid Dreams, a study exploring the paradox of consciousness during sleep, describing the possibility of conscious perception in dreams, often involving out-of-body experiences and hallucinations. Later, in the mid-90s, the UK ambient label EM:T released a minimalist ambient masterpiece titled Lucid Dreams, featuring texts and narration by Celia Green. Thanks to Astral Industries, this forgotten gem was reissued on vinyl a few years ago, in a deluxe edition with illustrations by the renowned Theo Ellsworth.

Several lucid dream sessions have been held by candlelight, featuring guests such as Ario, Camu, Coeval, Doozer, F-on, JL Maire, Urtzi, Patrick Russell, Vicki Siolos, SUNA, and most recently, Multicast Dynamics.

Muting one or two steps gets usually the best results. A hipass filter -or two in series- is needed to leave mostly the harmonics that will give us the metallic sound.

Bio:

Salva Coromina  aka ABSIS. 
His involvement in the Barcelona scene began in the late 90s under the alias MouseDown/MouseUp, having years of experience as Dj resident in club such as Razzmatazz (The loft) and festivals like Sonar.
He has always been exploring the deeper side of electronic music, moving from ambient to techno. ABSIS currently runs his residency at Laut club in Barcelona with the Midline parties... he is also a resident at the MOSTRA festival in Barcelona and his productions are published on labels such as hivern discs, Affin and Oslated among others.

Anna’s tireless dedication to the scene goes hand-in-hand with her unmistakable talent behind the decks, as evidenced by an impressive repertoire of mixes and set recordings, and which I was fortunate enough to witness first-hand last summer in the Chilterns. Here Anna demonstrates her well-honed craft over the course of two meticulously plotted hours, diving seamlessly into manifold forms of deep, heavy psychedelia before emerging in a wave of euphoric bliss.
