After five years of planning, writing, and refining their sound, London-based production duo Kolectiv are set to release their long-awaited debut drum & bass album, Circadian Rhythms.

The project began in the aftermath of the pandemic, when the pair started setting aside tracks that captured the spirit of a night out at a drum & bass event. Their vision was clear: to create an album that reflects the variety, energy, and progression of a rave – from the first beats that pull you into the closing sounds that carry you home.

“Going out to drum & bass nights, you’d hear so many different flavours across six or seven hours. We wanted the album to follow that same arc – like a circadian rhythm, a natural flow of time, but in this case the cycle of a rave,” Kolectiv explain.

To achieve this, the duo placed a strong emphasis on originality and sound design. Most of the album was built from scratch using their own recorded samples, crafted through sessions with keys, drums, and guitars, and only dipping into external sources when absolutely necessary. Vocal collaborations from PAV4N, Hijak MC, Illmatika and Kerry Donnelly add unique flavour to the project, while carefully placed interludes tie the project together as a complete listening experience.

“This isn’t just a collection of tracks. We wanted it to be a journey – a cradle-to-grave kind of experience – with highs, lows, and moments to breathe.”

The title Circadian Rhythms captures that intention perfectly: an audio diary of a night spent immersed in drum & bass culture, told through Kolectiv’s trademark blend of technical precision and emotional depth.

The project also coincided with a complete studio overhaul, giving Kolectiv a fresh environment to finalize and mix down the record with a renewed sense of clarity and focus.

With Circadian Rhythms, Kolectiv deliver more than an album – they present a story, an atmosphere, and a tribute to the music and culture that shaped them.

She’s Projekt Lab resident and a member of Oramics, a collective focusing on dismantling patriarchy in the Polish scene. Monster is currently one of the most sought after DJs in the country, known for her obsession with old school techno, acid, Chicago house… and Rihanna. Ivana has been a prominent figure in the San Francisco scene focusing on the darker side of electronic music. Being born and raised in Poland during the emergence of the rave scene and thriving club culture it would only take a little time for Ivana to develop a passion for it. But her real musical development has started when she decided to move to San Francisco, a city of artists and countless possibilities.
By starting to mix in her own basement, Ivana quickly developed an ear for darker and abstract patterns and it didn't take long for her to start a serious DJ career in San Francisco, playing across many underground clubs and parties. In 2016 Ivana has opened a party series called EastBlock that took place monthly at Monarch in San Francisco featuring local and international talents. Soon after she joined a San Francisco-based and femme-promoting collective promoting and thriving on Romanian minimal sound - Supervixen. Her musical journey continues into dark, trippy and experimental side of electronic music and she just started her own concept called Baba Yaga's Lair, which is taking place at UndergrounfSF.

After many years of dedication in the underground electronic music scene, the multi-talented breakthrough artist had an incredibly strong one in 2019, releasing her beautiful debut album "Bed of Roses" on @darkentriesrecords, touring the world and curating an ever-growing, inspiring catalogue for her own label @naivetrax.
The @minassuspension-resident also graced us with her presence at our summer showcase in Barcelona (with @voltek and @goldenmedusa) and simply blew us away with her impeccable selection and an energetic style of mixing that left no stone unturned.

Key Clef is a Berlin based, italian dj and producer with strong passion for analogue instruments. After experiencing the last years of the flourishing rave scene in Rome and accomplishing a degree in sound engineering her creative process evolved into different directions from club music, to performance art and electro acoustics.
In her own world music is a continuous dialogue between styles and hybridation. Her music productions as well her live performances include synth, drum machines and analogue effects reflecting her ethereal trajectory while her dj sets show the full prism of her music taste and knowledge of the dance floor.
Key Clef sound doesn’t hit on surface instead aims to channel emotions and contact between her music and the listener. After maturing her sound over the years she is finally launched her own imprint Ipnotica Erotica rec distributed by Rubadub.

The label will freely follow different kinds of sounds, since it doesn’t want to establish itself as a music genre but wants to be a free artistic expression & more than to be expressed by a genre it is expressed through emotions. Emotions that arise through the endless flow of sound that should hypnotize the auditor bringing him to feel the music on a physical level , while feeling his self bounded and surrounded by it.
