Being an advocat for the craft of djing with vinyl, he had the chance to support artists such as Psyk, Takaaki Itoh, Stephanie Sykes, The Lady Machine and many more. Raw, deep, hypnotic and groovy, his sound perfectly rounds up contemporary techno transporting relentless energy with style all the way through. He run his is own regular queer party series called — PAXXX, with a huge focus on diverse lineup which brings fresh air to the techno scene. 

This mix tells about his emotional journey. He started it deep and groovy and ended up with some relentless and driving tracks. The whole set is recorded from vinyls only.

After the Pruitt Igoe E.P, Kangding Ray returns with his third album for raster-noton, pushing further his explorations on the edge of digital and analog sounds. With OR, Kangding Ray continues to blur the borders between experimental and bass music, and brings his signature sound to another level, somewhere at the darkest fringe of club culture.
With the massive metallic beats of « athem », the frightening distorded waves of « Mojave », the elevated groove of « Odd Sympathy », the modulated guitar walls of « Leavaila Scheme », or the low-bitrate Everest of « La Belle », KR creates deep atmospheres, loaded with echoes of collapsing economies, dysfunctional political systems, and corporate alienation.In an abstract manner, OR depicts the desillusions of modern civilizations, while initiating a positive reflection on crisis as a creative state.
OR (« gold » in french), as the only chemical element that seems to keep its value for eternity, refers to the cult of endless consumption and the absurdity of fluctuating currency valuations, while in english, as a logical operator or grammatical conjunction, OR represents the possibility of another choice, an « inclusive disjunction » which suggests that there might be another answer, a different path to follow.
Noticeable inputs have been provided by Ben Frost, who composed a keyboard line for « Or », Rose Tizane Merrill who lend her voice to the anarchist poem « Monsters », and Magne Mostue who wrote the words and sang on « Coracoid Process » as well as the vocal version of the prophetic electronic mantra « Pruitt Igoe ».

NYC-based artist Agent Orange DJ continues to make a major impact on contemporary dance music by reworking classic tracks into modern day anthems. Earlier this year he released his rework of Armand Van Helden's 'Witch Doktor' that was swiftly picked up by some of the best DJs in the industry playing it on some of the biggest stages in the world. Now he's back with another clever reinterpretation, this time taking on Josh Wink's 1995 track 'Don't Laugh'. In a similar fashion to Agent Orange DJ's last release, this new rework has been rinsed in sets by the likes of Adam Beyer, Carl Cox, Nicole Moudaber and many more. 

Agent Orange DJ had this to say in the inspiration behind his rework and the reaction it has received since sharing it with his peers: "When Josh Wink released 'Don't Laugh' in 1995 on Nervous records, it really stood out to me because of its unique concept. A guy laughing over a simple beat is just too simple right? ...but wait! I then realized its beauty really lived in its simplicity and you couldn't help but get caught up in the smooth 303 acid lines and the crazy laughter until the whole dancefloor started to laugh! 

"Earlier this year I decided to give it an update. In March I sent it out to some DJ friends and a few weeks later, started getting videos of DJs hammering it down in Miami for the WMC/MMW and all over the world. Adam Beyer, Carl Cox, Nicole Moudaber, Layton Giordani, Bart Skils, UMEK, Christian Smith and more. After Miami Music Week I kept getting reports from people saying it was one of the highlight tracks of the week and I couldn't have been happier about it. The news eventually made it back to Nervous records who reached out to me and said they would love to put it out. After getting Josh's approval we agreed to go ahead with it and I'm glad it found a home on the label who originally released it."

Originally from northern France and now based in Berlin, Kayak is a 24-year-old DJ with a musical influence on Old School techno, and more particularly on English rave. 

Member and founder of the Makadam collective, based in Lille, it is in rave and warehouse that he has been able to impose a style mixing galloping kicks and industrial melodies.

In his set, Kayak wanted to share its mood with you by mixing you at its rhythm for an hour of pleasure.

Inspired not only by the infectious sounds of London but also the feel-good atmosphere of Berlin and Warsaw, he finds himself to be DJing and producing in the near future.
