Glasgow's Fear-E has established himself as a serious talent in recent years, with releases on DABJ, Super Rhythm Trax, Dark Entries, Don't Be Afraid, Street Tracks, Hilltown Disco, Takeout and Avoidant. He launched his own label, Posh End Music, earlier this year and dropped his first full album in May, with another coming soon. 
 
For his Das Booty release he channels his teenage self, who used to regularly attend the big raves in the 90s, with 4 old school-influenced bangers, in his own signature style.

A rhythm created during a common dream, a journey repeated by the rolling of the snare drums, voices bewitched by a humid path, its synthesizers are the only reason of this crystalline mist. It's time to open your eyes, this first side is full of movements ready to hypnotise and energise a dancefloor waiting for these sonic gems.
We must spin the record to find a blood coming from Kingston, however it is the Pilat that will give the rhythm of these green wizards. Their colours, of which this land alone knows the secret, blow a groove may be born from an AKAI MPC10003 caught in the Vieux Port. Its 3 pads and 2 missing buttons will deconstruct your mind.

We are pleased to present this fresh remix from alys(alys)alys which is closing ot the new EP by Manao and Tom Place coming via the London imprint La bonne musique. Tom and Manao are fusing classic elements of electro, techno and dubstep on their lovely EP, which we highly recommend to check out. The remix delivered by Berlin based alys(alys)alys taking the original into surreal realms of lysergic bass with some serious witchcraft energy. The Brasilian producer and DJ has been on our watch list for a while and once again proves that she is a strong talent to keep you eyes on!

All profits from this release will be going to the PCRF - the primary humanitarian organisation in Palestine, delivering crucial medical relief and humanitarian aid.

Info: Polycarp boss Simon Ferdinand delivers the cinematic electronica ‘Six Months’ EP in 2024, recorded across this time period and influenced by travels to Sicily, Baltimore and Zanzibar.
Hamburg, Germany’s Polycarp is the brainchild of Simon Ferdinand and has been active as a platform for the music of Simon under his own name, Basch and their music together as Bonn, as well as further notable artists such as Tilman and Johannes Albert. Here, Ferdinand returns to the imprint with another solo sonic adventure, traversing through a range of emotions and influences with elements of glitch, ambient, electro, breaks, EBM and more instilled within the project.
‘Broken’ leads the release and sets the tone through an amalgamation of hazy, glitched out jazz loops obscured and processed throughout. Title-track ‘Six Months’ then shifts towards a more ethereal deep house aesthetic with cossetting textures, stuttering synth chords, elongated bass drones and jazzy organic drums. ‘In The Lab’ follows next and sees Basch join forces with Simon to create a haunting slice of broken beat deepness fuelled by murky low-end pulsations, saturated drums and gritty stab sequences.
First up on the flip-side is ‘The Beginning’, shifting gears towards classic electro tropes with boomy 808’s, unfurling arpeggios and twitchy resonant synth bleeps before ‘Santa Marina’ rounds out the release with a contemporary electronica feel, fusing fluttering square wave bass lines, crisp amen breaks and intricately intertwined textural elements.
