Through our Soundcloud channel, we release a monthly mix series whereby we share our favourite music and invite friends & guests of the page to join us for guest mixes.

The idea behind [no_data_found] is that every night starts as a blank canvas of ideas and ways of looking at how to throw a party, whether it be through getting other creatives involved, video elements, interactivity, art or the genres of music being played. I'm lucky to have lots of creative humans around me (not just through music) and really want to build this in to a night that gives opportunities, as well as providing community, friendship and lots of fun for everyone involved, especially the raver. The community bit is most important, for it to be 'our' night.

The aim for this project is for it to have an old school feel to it, to not have a huge focus or be heavily reliant on social media, making it interesting each time and for it to be about the real life interaction through music that a party can truly bring. We'll try to add all the extra touches that really allow the raver to immerse themselves in the party in a way that suits them, being able to add their own creativity always.

I also want to allow for creative crossover of different genres, with events being organised and mixes being released that span across our community of DJs interpretations of house, techno and DNB. Music is always better shared.

Dance music enthusiast and oldskool raver turned bedroom producer.  FL Studio is my weapon of choice with Vital and Ozone 11 Advanced.

Manchild AKA Daz 'Manchild' Smith is a Greater Manchester based DJ with house music in its various guises flowing through his veins. Born and bred in Oldham, he has been hooked on music from the moment his Mum squirted him out and his style is almost impossible to pigeon hole due to him playing what he wants. Comfortable playing at any time; whether that be warmup, peak, closing time or sexy time, all the Manchild cares about is that the crowd have the most untold time. 

After only getting back into DJing in mid-2019 after a very long absence and a lot of catching up to do, both musically and with getting himself back up to speed with the latest DJ technology, he fell back in love with the progressive sound all over again and quickly became resident of Manchester brand 'Up Close and Personal Mcr' after catching the eye of promoter Andy Holdsworth. 

Whilst also indulging in breaks, melodic techno, indie dance, house, trance, power ballads and more, Manchild's versatility allows him to flit seamlessly between all of the above. 

Since late 2019 alone, he has regularly played with the likes of James Zabiela, John Digweed, Sasha, Nick Warren, Cristoph, Anthony Pappa, Jody Wisternoff (numerous times), Patrice Bäumel, Marsh, Nox Vahn, Jeremy Olander, Sébastien Léger, Roy Rosenfeld, Tim Green, Cosmic Gate, Grum, John 00 Fleming, Richie Blacker, Mr Sosa, Estiva, Boxer, Trilucid, My Friend, Fehrplay, Cream, Marcus James (Renaissance), Dave Pearce, Diode Eins, Tommy Farrow, John Kelly, Dave Beer, Asch Pintura, Redfreya and many more at venues such as London's Studio 338, Ministry of Sound, EGG, the Steel Yard; Manchester's Progress, Stage & Radio, and not to mention his many appearances at his favourite venue - Joshua Brooks'. 

With his own night 'You Think You Know Me' in the pipeline, there is plenty more to come from the Manchild hun.
