Zander Hardy's career started in 1993 at the pinnacle  of the UK Garage era!  Hardy's creative flair for the decks saw his reputation grow in the underground scene. 

Formerly known as DJ Z Virus working alongside MC Spi, Hardy produced the popular Foot and Mouth show broadcast across the pirate radio network, back in what Hardy describes as the 'The good ol days'.
The show gave Hardy the platform to play for many of the biggest club nights at the time, such as Tainted Love at Bagley’s film studios, Gas club, One night stand and Exposure.

In the late 90's Hardy turned his passion for the decks in passion for production, many of his productions are regarding as iconic tracks for the UK underground scene most notably Rude Sting (www.youtube.com/watch?v=CV_tFuVhB0s) which was championed by the infamous DJ. EZ! Hardy recalls the moment 'it was the last track of my set, i remember feeling really nervous about playing it. It was so fresh at the time, there was nothing like it but i played it anyway and when it dropped everyone in the gass club Ayia Napa went crazy. MC Viper leaned over and re-loaded the track. DJ EZ's exact words were “this track is freaky”. I told him it was my track and he said he needed this track , it was on a 10inch dub plate and i gave it to him that night.'

In 2002 'Rude sting' was signed to my label Face The Music Record label and sold over 18,000 units.

From 2005 - 2008 Hardy took a well earned break from music and returned with the Deep Teknologi Records - 'Hard EP'. 


More recently! the single “Prison” (originally produced in 2008 ) was signed to Defected Records Copyright.
