Aftergore is a series of AUs taking place after Undertale's neutral endings, in which a new human enters in Frisk's wake.
Aftergore VII, the Dog ending, details a strange ending in which Toriel, Papyrus, Undyne, Mettaton, and Asgore were killed, but everyone else was left alone. Now a little white dog rules the Underground by doing little more than sleeping on the throne all day. Somehow, this is working out...really, really well for everyone? NOTHING IS OUT OF PLACE. DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT. EVERYTHING IS FINE. =)

A new dog on the scene by the name of Doggalo takes the role of Mettaton. With Mettaton and so many others gone quality control is pretty low, so it seems anyone can be the Underground's star these days...
He's one of the main members of the Jevillos, a strange facepaint-wearing pseudo-cult that believes in a mythical clown god by the name of "Jevil"...pretty weird stuff if you ask me. ANY RELATION TO ANY REAL LIFE FANBASES IS...PROBABLY EXACTLY WHAT YOU THINK IT IS.
Doggalo's all about having a good time and not caring what anyone thinks. That said, sometimes "having a good time" means "throwing axes around in places where axes do not belong" and "what anyone thinks" is "people saying that maybe axes aren't safe in these particular places."

In Deltarune: Switching Suits, Kris and Susie technically keep their roles, in that Kris is the protagonist and Susie is the deuteragonist. However, they swap lives. Susie is the adopted daughter of the Dreemurrs who is known and loved by her classmates, while Kris is the widely feared school outcast. Kris doesn't get a fun ride to school with a parent, they just have to walk there alone.

Surprise! In DR:SS, the Lightners actually don't swap! While this does contradict BelowExchange, this is a separate reality from BE, so the rules need not apply (don't worry, connections to BelowExchange will become clearer later on). So Alphys is still Alphys. No workout tapes in this reality, she's just back to her usual nerdy ways.

Aftergore III, the Exiled Queen ending, details an ending in which only Undyne and Asgore have been killed. Toriel tried to claim the throne, but threats of a coup quickly sent her back to the Ruins. Now the Underground is in a state of instability and semi-anarchy. Humans are to be treated as...well, it's unclear right now, but it's not good.

Flowey takes the role of Sans. He's pretty chummy with you this time around, really looking out for you...is he up to something? ...probably.

Hopeless is a roleshift AU inspired by the harsh aesthetic of Underfell, and "Mark of Fate" is its Deltarune equivalent. The harshness of the character's personalities altered the status of both the Light and Dark World, leading to a very different kingdom from the one we know.

Rouxls Kaard takes the role of Lancer. Always looking for power and recognition, he jumped at the opportunity to be the official Enforcer of Order when he was appointed to the position by the mysterious Oathbearer. The morals of his commander are irrelevant, because Rouxls gets to make the rules, and that kind of power and respect is all he demands in life.
