Neil Willis was on hosting duties this week, with a stunning set of uplifting disco house grooves.

His guest for the second hour was music legend Greg Wilson, who Neil met at a gig recently and invited him on our show. Greg is one of the biggest names in the disco world and a man of exceptional taste and skill. He started DJing back in 1975, and was the first person to DJ live on national TV back in 1983. He's gained huge popularity around the world, and is known for his eclectic DJ sets and using tape reels for mixing during his performances.

The latest Funkier Sessionis a good one - a 96 minute beast of a mix from a UK-based DJ and producer called NTRIK. I loooove this mix - there’s loads going on but it flows really well… starting off on a lovely boogie tip but building to something chunkier with original and remixed disco, some house and varied funky vibes. A few classics and some new discoveries in there too. It’s a really nice one, and you’d do well to give it a listen to see what I mean! Currently based in the south of France, DJ and producer Sébastien Kestel, aka Sebka, honed his skills over many years playing vinyl in Parisian venues such as La Bellevilloise and Le Batofar, before releasing house tracks on the Emocia and Fastfame labels. 
Show Me The Way is an effective and punchy garage number, performed by the great jazz-gospel singer Natasha Kanga. 
In addition to the Extended Mix and the Dub Mix, Pawel Kobak delivers one of his signature banging house remixes, while Hope4Grace revisits the track with her brilliant UK-style rework including a healthy dose of brokenbeat.
