Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy is a highly respected and experienced musical selector, DJ, radio host and curator, founder of the album listening event and content hub Classic Album Sundays and an authority on music, sound and the vinyl renaissance.
 
She was mentored by David Mancuso at his seminal Loft parties in New York City. Together they co-produced the compilation series David Mancuso Presents The Loft and worked together on David’s record label The Loft Audiophile Library of Music. In 2000, David told Time Out New York City “She is very devoted and very pure about the music. She’s one of the only people I would trust, both with the music and with the equipment, to fill in for me.” She was asked by David to help manage his legacy and continues to be one of the musical hosts at The Loft in NYC. She is also the co-founder of the Lucky Cloud Loft parties in London and DJs internationally on the world's best sound systems and dance floors.

Colleen hosts Cosmodelica, a monthly radio show on Worldwide FM selected by Time Out as one of the 10 best shows in London. She is now bringing Cosmodelica to the dancefloor to high-end audio venues like London’s Giant Steps and New York City’s Public Records. In March she is hosting a Cosmodelica residency at the Prince of Wales with special guests.

In 2019 Colleen was nominated into the DJ Mag North America Hall of Fame and launched Love Dancin’ Sound System at Gilles Peterson’s We Out Here Festival, sharing some of her musical and sonic passions to dancers outside of her existing communities to rave reviews. She will once again host the Love Dancin’ tent at We Out Here in 2020.

In the last few years Colleen has brought her uplifting musical energy to other festivals including Houghton where she has hosted a marathon set every year since its inception and is returning in 2020. She has played alongside Gilles Peterson for his closing party at his Worldwide Festival, a headline closing set at Dekmantel Selectors 2019 and sets at Kala Festival, Lost Village, One Day at the Disco, Flow Festival and Umbria Jazz Festival.

She hosted one of the most popular disco sets for Boiler Room and has recently been featured as the subject of a podcast for Resident Advisor. DJ Mag UK featured a lengthy long-read article about her in August 2019.

 Her Classic Album Sundays platform tells the stories behind the albums that have shaped our culture and in some cases, our lives. Colleen founded Classic Album Sundays as a stance against the increasing devaluation of music and sound. What began as a passion project is now the world’s most popular album listening event with satellites in four continents and the website and social media channels host content on classic albums and artists such as interviews, videos, playlists and more. BBC Breakfast Television remarked, “Classic Album Sundays treat our best-loved records like great symphonies.” She has hosted events with amazing talent such as Jarvis Cocker, Guy Garvey, Laura Mvula, Max Richter, John Grant, Pink Floyd’s Nick Mason and many more.
 
Colleen has been a radio host, DJ and programme director since the age of fourteen and today hosts Cosmodelica and Classic Album Sundays Worldwide on Worldwide FM and ‘This Women’s Work’ series for Public Radio International. She is the writer and host of BBC 6 Music’s album series ‘Sounds of a City’ and BBC Radio 4’s doc series ‘Turntable Tales’. Unfold Japan, a radio series she hosted for Worldwide FM and Asahi, has recently been nominated for an ARIA Award (Audio and Radio Industry Awards).

Dr Packer is an alias of West Australian Drum & Bass DJ/Producer 'Greg Packer' set up for Remixes & Edits of mainly retro music such as 70's , 80's , 90's Soul , Disco , Funk , Hip Hop & Reggae , Greg although known more for 'Liquid Drum & Bass' regularly plays sets of 'Old School Funk , Disco , Hip Hop Etc' purchasing his first record in 1982 at the age of 10 'Grandmaster Flash - The Message' 

Moving on to the 90's shortly after emigrating to 'Perth Western Australia' greg purchased his first pair of decks in 1989 making this year his 28th year behind the decks , in 1991 he won the WA DMC's and defended the title in 1992 but by this time greg preferred Club Dj-ing and longer sets rather than a 5 minute scratch battle routine... 

Greg then moved onto 'Jungle & Drum & Bass' music in the early 90s and often regarded as a pioneer of that sound in Australia winning many awards and went semi global touring (UK , Europe , Asia , New Zealand & Australia) 

In 1998 Greg took up production and set up his own studio running his own label 'Interphase Music' He produced over 100 tracks & remixes under the name 'Greg Packer' and was signed to many other labels in the UK & USA including LTJ Bukem's  'Good Looking Records'

By 2013 greg began mixing entire sets from CD therefore searching for music online , he started picking up re-edits and he loved the way the original songs were beefed up and sounded fat on a club system but the original vibe was still there , these edits were quantised perfectly meaning you were able to beat mix them flawlessly unlike playing the original vinyl... 

In August 2013 Greg Produced his first two edits under the name 'Dr Packer'  which has caught the attention of labels such as 'Defected / Glitterbox , Z Records , Disco Dat , Hot Digits , Masterworks Music & Midnight Riot' resulting in a number one chart position for every EP release so far on the 'Juno Download sales chart' 

2015 saw 'Dr Packer' take the number one spot on the 'Traxsource Best Nu-Disco Producer' and number 5 for 2016 , he has had the opportunity to officially remix music by artists such as 'Bootsy Collins' and 'Robert Owens' and attack the back catalogs of Simon Dunmore's Defetced label and Joey Negro's 'Z Recordings' 

2016 saw Dr Packer break out globally behind the decks in places such as 'London , Ibiza , Croatia , Scotland ,  Denmark , Germany , Singapore , Bali , Abu Dhabi & all over Australia' playing alongside some heavyweights such as 'Dimitri From Paris , Joey Negro , John Morales , Greg Wilson , LNTG ,  Basement Jaxx , Crazy P , Sonny Fodera ,  Jazzi B (Soul II Soul) Faze Action'

David Morales is a globally revered American DJ, a Grammy award-winning record producer, songwriter, and businessman. He has produced and remixed over 1000+ records for an all-star roster of multi-platinum artists, including Mariah Carey, U2, Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin, Madonna, and Whitney Houston. A true legend of house music, the global phenomenon and penetration of dance music into Top 40 radio would not have been possible without him.
More recently, Morales launched DIRIDIM Records in 2018. With this new label, David is signing and developing new talent - and naturally, releasing some of his own music. DIRIDIM celebrates all kinds of dance music, ranging from the classic house music sound Morales is known for to straight-up electronic sonorities. In January 2022, Morales released "Life Is a Song", his first full-length studio album in almost 10 years. Produced during the pandemic lockdown, the album featuring artists, Mr. V., Blakkat, Elle Cato, Michelle Perera, Lea Lorien, Blondewearingblack among others, quickly gained an international following eager to hear more and skyrocketed up Traxsource's album chart to #1 for three weeks. In 2020, due to the global pandemic and inability to travel, he launched, Sunday Mass, a livestreaming show on Twitch to entertain his fans across the world. The 2021 IMS Business Report based on data, cited him as one of the dance music artists who experienced online success during the pandemic. Into post-pandemic times and with the reopening of clubs all over the world, David continued his legacy as a native New Yorker and trailblazing DJ, constantly gracing the best international stages with recent standout performances such as the Hacienda Warehouse Project in Manchester, Clockwork Orange in London, Stereo Montreal, EDC Vegas, Hi Ibiza, and After Caposile Venice. In 2024, David Morales is holding a residency at the legendary Pikes Hotel in Ibiza during the summer. A pinnacle in his repertoire is also the ongoing success of the Sunday Mass parties in NY, featuring both club nights and legendary boat parties during the summer. These events stand as a testament to Morales's enduring impact as a true legend on the house music scene. On top of this all, David is on the brink of releasing a new LP, 'Sunday Mass Vol. 1', the inaugural installment in a series with more to come in 2024. As we venture into 2024, expect a flurry of news and projects, with the new year expected to be a more than ever prolific one for David Morales.

David Morales has transcended musical genres to create a global brand. His music productions have appeared in popular films and television shows, including The Devil Wears Prada, Ninja Turtles 2, Don’t Mess With the Zohan, and Star (TV Series). His DIRIDIM radio show can be heard on Ibiza Global Radio and numerous other stations around the world which is streamed to millions of listeners around the world. In 2016, Morales was the lead judge on “Top DJ” a national television series broadcast on Italia 1. When it came time to wear his fashion model hat, Morales appeared in a global advertising campaign for luxury design house, Iceberg. 

HISTORY
David Morales honed his skills as a DJ in the 1980s and 1990s at such legendary clubs as the Ozone Layer, Paradise Garage, Red Zone, Zanzibar, Tunnel and Club USA just to name a few. When the remix and DJ work began taking off, Morales teamed up with house music legend, Frankie Knuckles, and For The Record DJ Pool founder/NYC nightlife impresario, Judy Weinstein, to create Def Mix Productions.
Morales’ prolific production career kicked into high gear in the 1990s with the release of his solo debut album, “The Program” by David Morales & The Bad Yard Club. In the late-1990s, with hundreds of remixes (Mariah Carey’s “Dreamlover,” Janet Jackson’s “Throb,” Alison Limerick’s “Where Love Lives,” CeCe Peniston’s “Finally,” Jamiroquai’s “Space Cowboy”, Jaydee’s “Plastic Dreams,” Robert Owens’ “I’ll Be Your Friend,” under his belt, Morales recorded the groundbreaking house classic, “Needin’ U,” under the alias David Morales Presents The Face. Morales’ second album, “2 Worlds Collide,” arrived in 2005, followed six years later, by his third album, “Changes.” 
David Morales was nominated for his first Grammy Award in 1996 as a Producer on Mariah Carey’s album, ‘Daydream’ for the song ‘Fantasy’. In 1998 he won a Grammy Award for “Remixer of the Year.”
Though Morales’ past is surely one for music’s history books, the DJ-turned-artist always has his eyes firmly focused on the future—on what lies ahead. He keeps an ear to the ground, regularly exploring new music, new artists, and hotly tipped DJs who might inspire him to “go and do my homework.” He happily embraces the new generation of clubgoers. “They don’t care about yesterday”, he says, with a knowing smile.
